This hotel was really a surprise. We booked late in the afternoon on the way from one place to another. It was so comfortable! It was immaculately clean and there is a nice restaurant attached as well as a cute gift shop. The items in the gift shop were unexpected and very reasonably priced. I bought a few Christmas gifts here. I would highly recommend this hotel I also want to mention the front desk clerk was as nice and friendly as she could be. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Il 1898 The Post è un hotel boutique ospitato in un caratteristico edificio storico nel cuore di Gand. La struttura si trova all’interno dell’ex ufficio postale. A wonderful little gem in the middle of Gent. It's a beautifully decorated hotel that was once a former post office with lovely views. The staff was super friendly and nice, comfortable rooms, the cocktail bar was amazing and it was in a very convenient location, walking distance to all major sights.
