Hótelið opnaði í september 2018 og er við hliðina á verslunarmiðstöðinni Storo Storcenter, milli hverfanna Storo og Nydalen í Osló og í 5 km fjarlægð frá miðbænum. The hotel is very well located, right between two metro lines and close to tram and bus stops, making it very easy to travel to Oslo's city center and to other city landmarks. Going from the hotel to the central station takes between 20 to 30 mins depending on the way of transportation chosen. The breakfast was really good, giving a wide variety of choices also for vegetarians or vegans , staff was very friendly and always willing to help. The room was big, clean and comfortable. I'd definitely book this hotel again.

This non-profit hotel is located on the University of Stavanger campus, a 3-minute walk from Norwegian Petroleum Directorate. Ydalir Hotel has three stars, but it feels like five. It is very cozy, and the staff is wonderful.
