Beautiful property! The entire hotel, the room as well as the common areas are great.
The property is well maintained and clean, the room was nicely decorated and cozy with ice cold aircon, a comfortable bed and large tub! The phone in the room was having issues and it got replaced within 10 minutes of it being reported.
I had a late lunch at the poolside restaurant and it was delicious!
There was no poolside or bar entertainment so nothing keeping you from reading a book or taking a nap. Even with the construction next door it was quiet and I was able to relax (something that isn't always the case in Canggu.. with the road noise it's sometimes hard to get a good night's sleep).
If you're seeking some fun and nightlife, getting a rideshare is super easy and you're about a 15 minute ride away from the happening area.
The staff was very willing to make sure your stay is a pleasant one.

Only go there if you're 20 something and into night clubs. There's almost no local food, only expensive western restaurants and bars and club. There's nothing beautiful to see, the beach is dirty, etc. And traffic is so horrible that if you want to go anywhere better (Ubud etc) you'll be so stressed and annoyed by the time you get there and back it isn't worth it

Canggu is a busy place full of shops and great restaurants. The downside is walking around is pretty uncomfortable due to poor pavements (or none at all) and crazy traffic. The beach was a lovely place for a walk and to watch the surfers and sunset.

noise from beach clubs is too loud too late into the evening...
noise from beach clubs is too loud too late into the evening. The accomodations across Canggu need to warn people of this and do things like put in ceiling fans to help mitigate the noise at night as it goes until late. Beach is filthy and crowded. Much better places in SE asia and Bali to go to for cleaner beaches that would offer massages and nice eateries on the beachfront so def not impressed.

This property is absolutely stunning—immaculately maintained and a true delight to stay in. Every aspect, from room cleaning and reception to the restaurant and personalized touches, was exceptional. The entire team consistently greeted us with warm smiles, no matter the time of day. Responses to requests were remarkably quick—the fastest we’ve ever experienced. Kudos to the entire team for delivering such outstanding service!
Shall definitely recommend and hopefully come back in the near future!

Traffic is murder. Streets are too narrow and no footpaths. Locals are ok it’s the stupid tourists and ex pats who think they can ride a bike you have to watch out for. Got some nice cafes and restaurants with convenience stores every 10 meters. Beach walk is nice as it is everywhere in Bali. Definitely need to go to Finn’s Beach Resort so you can enjoy your dinner while watching fat white people running around in budgie smugglers and bikinis.

Bali, and specifically Canggu, can be hectic at the best of times, but stepping through the wooden doors of Amar you were immediately in a place of tranquility and comfort. Filipa was a wonderful host that made sure we were as well informed as we could be (as first time visitors to Bali) and gave us so many great tips and advice to make our stay enjoyable. Location couldn't be better just two minutes walk to Echo Beach which has so many places to chill, eat and drink, or try a bit of surfing.
Really nice surf atmosphere and great playlists in the lobby area. Friendly staff, always smiling and ready to help. Best breakfast that we have ever had in hotels of Bali! Not to mention the location which is walking distance to Echo beach, a good spa and a gelateria. Highly recommend!
Villa is very clean. Ulaş Abi is good person. Location is very effective to reach all of Canggu. I recommedded all of people who will travel Bali.

One of my favorite hotels in Canggu. Close to Echo Beach, which is a great surf spot. But also close to restaurants and shops. Lovely, comfortable room. And nice, attentive staff.
