Room was big and comfy. It was a large room separated by sliding doors, two twin beds on one side and two extendable arm chairs on the other.
Food was ok, some was good, some was so-so. Plenty of options for vegetarians/vegans.

Rooms, especially bathrooms hadn't been cleaned in a while and this sucked, since I chose this hotel for the advertised cleanliness. Also, the hotel never made public the fact that it didn't have an elevator...we were given rooms on the third floor and we are in our late sixties...I asked for a lower floor (they had rooms on lower floors but they refused)...I would not recommend this hotel to my enemies !

Golden Sands is a modern resort, with beautiful and interesting buildings where the useful combines beautifully with the functional.
The natural setting is pleasant and diversified, located at the mountain and sea junction. The access roads are well maintained and can be easily reached from the city of Varna or the airport in Burgas.
The most unpleasant part is the crowding and the lack of parking spaces.

The people crowd in small non-private areas.

We were glad our hotel was at the end of the boulevard from Golden Sands, so it was nice and calm, no noise from partying people and loud bars or cafe's Glad I didn't book a hotel in the middle of the hustle and bustle because that would have cost us a lot of sleep.... We didn't go out for a drink of dinner because our hotel provided us with this. We just walked and looked around what was for sale in the many stalls with clothes and bags and touristic stuff you can buy abroad.

Pretty standard East European seaside resort. Beach filled with cigarette butts, with dirty umbrellas and beach furniture. A lot of shops eith overpriced items, and restauranta with mostly overpriced foods. Some kids attractions that might be interesting for them for a few days.
For less than the price of a double room at a 3* hotel I got a full size apartment with free parking and just 2 minutes away from the central beach. They offer different kinds of apartments so if you pay a little extra you will get a bigger better apartment
Clean, well equipped, nice pool water. The staff was great in all areas of the hotel. Good breakfast, especially banitsa, the cheeses and the yogurt, the beer was always cold. Food in general better than what you usually find in Bulgaria-all inclusive.
Localization was pretty good, approximately 20 min to Golden Sands and there was beach in front of hotel. However, the nearby beaches were better.
Cleaning lady and receptionists 10/10. Clean rooms and friendly kind staff.
The food and drink offerings were good and the pool areas comfortable for families with children. A short walk to the heart of Golden Sands. Lots of activities for children. Short queues for water slides
