Will definitely book again. This resort has such a beautiful view of the mountain and is central to Downtown, so many shops and places to eat just a walk away. The receptionist that checked us in could not have been more kind and accommodating! And I believe his name was Israel. We did run into a bit of an issue with the room we got at first as when we booked it on a third-party site it didn't show us examples of the view or what the Garden or Pool view was, and we were hoping to get a room close to the pool. However, Israel made the switch for us all with a smile and an amazing attitude.
The rest of our stay went very well. We enjoyed the pool a lot. During this time, the heat is scorching hot, but the pool's temperature was very cool, there's plenty of space to lounge by the pool side as well. It was a very good time. There's a gym and a Spa here as well but due to the duration of our stay, I couldn't take advantage of either but next time I definitely will. Another thing I liked was that in the lobby by the front desk they have a nice little mini mart with drinks, snacks and food, which came in handy and was very convenient.
For the rooms, they're stocked with a fridge and a microwave which was a great thing for us. I had no problem with the shower, or amenities.

When you book the room it says free breakfast but There’s no breakfast! It’s just hot water to prepare packages of instant oatmeal, there’s only sweet muffins and coffe. No fruit no egg no juice no bread.

Staff were very friendly and extremely accommodating.

Always like PS very very hot though! I was a little bummed the clothing stores closed by 7 on a Friday night. you can’t even check in your room till 4 get situated after a long drive. I left room at 7 to hit the town but a lot was closed so grabbed a bite and left.

Palm Springs is a great city.
Palm Springs is a great city. I strongly recommend going there. Do some research before going so you can be prepared to experience them They have some of the best restaurants you will ever find. Great art museum and air museum. Great history of Hollywood stars still living there and the viewing of past stars homes.

I have been going to Palm Springs ever since I was a little...
I have been going to Palm Springs ever since I was a little kid. At one point we owned a vacation home there and have Long since sold it. It is always fun to go out to the desert. The winter is by far more desirable, but during the summer things are less crowded and you can still enjoy yourself and have a good time. Palm Springs is quite beautiful and lots of new buildings going up, great galleries, restaurants, shopping, etc.

Palm Springs is a lovely and quiet getaway. The summer months are really slow because it can get insufferably hot, but that’s kind of what I love about it. Since there’s not much to do, lounging by a pool all day with cocktails and lunch and then going out to eat at one of their many delicious restaurants, is one of my favorite things to do. Some people like to go to one of the local casinos, but there’s also a lot of great bars, drag brunches and shows to experience.

It was HOT! It's bearable bc it's a dry heat. (That's really true!) Most restaurants on Palm Canyon had misters going which helped alot when walking ro your destination. Thursday night street fair/market was still there plenty of food trucks and vendors.
As long as you have A/C in your car, hotel and venues you're good to go!
After staying at a dozen different hotels, deciding if I should move to Palm Springs, I found this place. So cute and clean. Perfectly located and the staff is fantastic. I could not recommend this place enough if you’re trying to be budget conscious, but don’t wanna compromise on cleanliness or quality.
There was no breakfast at this hotel but there were locations for food and coffee within walking distance. Set to the back drop of the magnificent San Jacinto mountains in Palm Springs, I very much enjoyed my stay here. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff:-)
We loved the ambiance of the hotel! The mix of the original hotel architecture and updated decor made it such a unique experience. We loved the pool area and Minerva’s for both coffee and cocktails! We’ll definitely be back at Life House Palm Springs!
