Well maintained city with excellent restaurants and bars. Very good gay scene and nightlife with several gay resorts. The hiking trails and wilderness areas are all well maintained.
On a side note the Palm Springs PD is highly competent and understands their citizens. It is one of the few police departments in the entire state that respects the people who pay them with a police chief who actually gets out into the community.

I loved the sunshine and the pool.
I loved the sunshine and the pool. I come from the PNW where its glooming for several months. I went to the Moorten Botanical Garden. I also had booked my Tram ride before I left and glad that I did. It was crowded (80 people per ride) but well worth the experience. I used Uber and Lyft to get around. I also used ChowNow for food delivery If and when I come again I want a better hotel room , closer to downtown. There was a lot I had missed.

A fun, lively town full of things to enjoy from the aerial tram up San Jacinto Mountain to wonderful dining experiences. We ate at Pommes Frites (aFrench-Belgian bistro, delicious); Spencer's (fine dining that was both delicious and a beautiful setting); Lulu California Cafe (a casual, delicious eatery); and The Peak, at the top of Mt San Jacinto (delicious and extraordinary setting - go at lunch or sunset)

The people were really friendly and helpful. The weather was superb as were the restaurants our hosts recommended - Spencer’s, Le Vellauris and Johannes.
We played golf and unfortunately chose to visit in October when courses were being over seeded.

The location was great, less than a mile from some of the main restaurants and bars in the main street, so it's easy to drive to, uber to, or even walk if I wasn't so hungry and had more patience :). The hotel had a really cool feeling of classic modern Palm Springs vibes, but the rooms had a modern touch with updated furnishings/and bathrooms. The view of the mountains over the pool from my room was also a huge bonus to wake up to.
Nice and Cozy, and the owners were extremely nice! I had a great time here. My 7 year-old son didn’t even want to leave the hotel. I’d stay here if I have a chance to come to Palm Springs.
What a nice surprise ! Need no alibis to confirm that this hotel is a world class inn. Great pool, clean and quiet rooms, gentle staff and well located nearby Palm Springs' hottest spots.
