Wow, this hotel really rocks. They have a large, heated, very comfortable pool with all amenities. Our room (we were upgraded to a suite) was large, extremely comfortable and very well appointed. The breakfast buffet was really nice, and the location is great- close enough to the old town to walk in easily but far enough away to be quiet and calm. The front desk was very helpful- they parked our car for us, recommended a nice restaurant in town, and helped with the luggage. I wish every hotel was this great.
Opened in 2016 and featuring a seafront location on Čiovo Island, Bifora Heritage Hotel is just 1148 feet from Trogir Old Town.

This hotel is perfectly located, just across the bridge from the old town (just a few minutes walk). The room was very clean and as beautiful as shown in the pictures and the balcony was very spacious. Staff was absolutely fantastic and so helpful! Unfortunately, I didn’t stay long enough to enjoy their common areas and restaurant. I 100% recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Trogir!

A small and friendly village with bars and restaurants as well as a foot ferry to Trogir and Split. Both well worth a visit for the day. We didn't have a car so relied on trips to the small local shop or when we visited Trogir or Split to stock up with supplies. The three of about five restaurants that we ate at served very nice food. The beaches were not at all busy in early June and were clean and the sea was the cleanest I have seen.

Beautiful, quiet, peaceful, relaxing place
Beautiful, quiet, peaceful, relaxing place
Favourite place - South part, private, crystal clear water, a lot of fish, good for snorkelling
Few good restaurants and bars around harbour - hard to pick the favourite one
Easy to go around and get to Split and Trogir - by ferry boat
No bad experience with this place

Slatine is a small town where the main road is going very close to the beach. There are not many supermarkets, only one which is uphill. We had to go to Trogir to buy food. Otherwise it's very nice, although it could use a promenade.

This area of Croatia is great!
This area of Croatia is great! You can reach Krka and Plitvice in a few hours. Split is 20 minutes by ferry. Trogir was the most beautiful city to me. The family that own Guesthouse Vakans are very friendly and helpful. They speak English so I had no problem chatting with them. Even watched Joe and his son pick olives one afternoon ! That was fun. Nothing to beat the views! You can see Split at night across the water.

Saltine is a small quiet fishing village.
Saltine is a small quiet fishing village. The frequent boat takes you to Trogir or Split if you want a tourist experience.
In the village are a wide range of restaurants - all of them excellent!
There are also two small supermarkets and plenty of beach bars. The pebble beach extends for miles and the swimming is excellent!

I liked Slatine.
I liked Slatine. It was a beach town but close to Trogir and Split. We drove to Split instead of taking the ferry because the ferry did not have enough options of my liking and parking in Split was easy enough. It was great having the bridge from Trogir and we never encountered any traffic going over the bridge. I thought the restaurants were reasonably priced in the area (a pizza might be around 65kuna, fish would be around 100 kuna). Overall, I though Slatine was nicely placed to see the islands and local cities nearby, yet it also gave the beach town feeling.
Very clean and spacious apartment with good air con in all rooms . very comfortable beds and pillows and plenty of towels provided. Kitchen equipment was good , non stick pans , sharp knives and a great coffee machine. Washing machine and dishwasher were great and a good amount of tabs / liquid in the welcome pack. The pool area has plenty of sun beds , lots of shade too and was never too busy. Easy walk to beach and to a decent shop for groceries.
Accommodation first class, comfy apartment fully equipped, Tv, air-conditioning in both rooms, dishwasher, washing mashine and iron.
Location wonderful, close to the beach and the bus stop. Good connection to Trogir by bus and Split by the boat from the Splatine harbour.
If you are tired of beach you can always use great swimming pool and bbq which are located next to the building
Great appartement, very friendly and helpful owners. The rooms have air-conditioning, it was hot so that was very welcome. Perfect place to stay for visiting Split, Trogir and Krka national park. The beach is on walking distance and we liked the pool (in June it wasn't too crowded).
The ferry to Split was closeby, great way to visit the town!
The owner is very kind and helpful. The apartment is spacious and the cleanliness is outstanding. The beach, the bakery, the shop and the restaurants are 5 minutes walk from the apartment.
