Due to the proximity to Mall,Airport bus(TurBus) we stayed here for 3rd time and we had no issues. Staff was kind enough and a bakery was next door. Mall plaza is very nearby and we could buy groceries and eat food from the mall Plaza. Overall we had good experience in the hotel

Use Santiago as a spot to travel Chile from. Atacama was incredible and the mountain terrain is beautiful. The city has a lot of homelessness, and there is an uncertainty when walking in some areas that are deemed "fine" by locals. Bolivia for instance has less economic privilege yet many travellers felt safer there than in the city of Santiago. I would stay there a max 1 day. It is also extremely expensive, comparable to London but this is similar for the rest of Chile not just Santiago.

Santiago is a beautiful city that is well worth visiting.
Santiago is a beautiful city that is well worth visiting. What impressed me the most was the cuisine. I am Brazilian and love gastronomy, and Santiago was the place where I found the most delicious food. I also loved the way Chileans welcome Brazilians. The people are very polite and willing to help. The city is relatively safe, especially if you stay in the Las Condes area. I recommend traveling in the fall when the weather is mild and you have a chance to see snow.

Santiago is an awesome city.
Santiago is an awesome city. The people are wonderful and there are so many great restaurants. The metro system is the best in South America - clean efficient and safe. I would recommend la Biferia for excellent wine and steak, and la giratorio for something a little bit gimmicky but also awesome.

Interesting city with easy access metro system.
Interesting city with easy access metro system. Highlights included San Cristobal Hill for the view and the main square. Due to the issues with pickpockets and street crime, it does require being hypervigilant with your valuables. We were touring the area around the Central Market when a local man approached us (2 women) and warned us that we were not safe in that area and needed to leave. Uber was the best way to get around and very cheap.

I had my necklace grabbed off my neck in the middle of the day near the main square. Very high crime rate. I did not feel safe walking around even during the day and came home straight after dinner each night. We liked Lastarria district at night for dinner. Sommelier Hotel rooftop bar was great although very heavy smokers everywhere.

Breakfast was average; for a 5 Star hotel breakfast should be better with fresh juices, better cheese and bread selection. Coffee was very weak
Very good, central location. Helpful staff, very clean hotel with nice steam room and fitness room
I never stay in 5 star hotels but the Hotel Magnolia was so worth it. Everything including the rooftop restaurant was exceptional. Very helpful staff. Loved the room, amenities.
we were looking for a stay in Santiago because of late arrival and early departure from the airport. Reception is 24h which is great. Hotel staff was very helpful and kind.
This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in. Service was exceptional, attentive & discreet. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Santiago... it was that good
