Very friendly staff, large enough room with a big balcony, swimming pool was clean and quiet (probably as we went at low season), the city centre was only within 10 minutes of walking distance.

We had such a wonderful stay at Villa Giardino! It is clear that Nick, Helena and the whole team think a lot about creating a comfortable, warm environment! We were greeted with homemade lemonade, which was a sweet touch. We even received a complimentary upgrade because we were on our honeymoon - this was such a thoughtful gesture, and we couldn’t have enjoyed the view from our window more! The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable - and we loved the communal spaces too. Lots of comfy outdoor furniture to sit in with a book, etc.
Breakfast was delicious too, with cereal, yogurt, fruits, homemade cakes… and then made-to-order eggs, veggies, etc too!
It really felt like a treat to stay at Villa Giardino!

Modern facility, great location and friendly staff!!

Bol is a lovely little town, with a beautiful harbour and several excellent beaches. We were there in September so it wasn’t too busy anywhere. The better restaurants are to be found away from the main harbour area, and we had some very enjoyable meals. There are plenty of boat tours, but if you want to see the rest of the island you need to hire a car. There are many secluded coves around the island.

We visited Bol during the summer as part of a longer trip to Croatia, we enjoyed it so much we decided to come vack for an extended weekend. We were a little worried that we had hyped it up in our memory but we needn't have .. it was exactly as we remembered! The vibe, the people, the location .. all perfect .. we'll be back ... AGAIN!

The island of Brac is a matter of our hearts.
The island of Brac is a matter of our hearts. We love its smell (the smell of the sea and the pine trees), its sounds (the singing of the cicadas and the music of the sea), the warm-hearted people who are always willing to help. We arrived by car from Split by ferry to Supetar and from there across the island to Bol, where we stayed in the town centre (we have stayed 4 times now at SD House Rooms, we go every year in July and August). From there we rode our bikes to Golden Horn beach every day. It's a gorgeous beach with clear beautiful sea which is different every day. The beach is kept clean every day, there are snack stands and bars with a great menu, good ice cream and good coffee, at affordable prices. By the beach there is a grove of tall pine trees (pines), which gives the possibility of shade and a pleasant cooling down. People bring hammocks to rest in. Nearby there is a bicycle rental, scooters. The harbour in Bol is charming and the promenade to Golden Horn beach is beautiful.

Bol is a really nice city, I only reserved here for the Zatni Rat beach and I was surprised by how beautifull the city was. The food was great, Bol beeing among the few places where food was always verry good. The Zatni Rat beach was really nice as well, although it's not a sandy beach as it is marketed, the view from here was really nice!
I think that the only downside was that it seemed to be verry expensive for what it was, would definetelly reccommed the experience to everyone, but I don't think I will ever come back since there are better options at cheaper prices out there (Mallorca beeing one of them).

Very quiet place and less tourists than Hvar.
Very quiet place and less tourists than Hvar. As many places too many people in the popular beaches but it is possible to find less crowded beaches in walking distance.
I did not like cash only spread at all places.

Beautiful Island.
Beautiful Island.
Despite travelling in early July, we didn't feel like it was overrun with tourists. There were day trippers from other islands/mainland but it didn't feel crowded.
We arrived by bus/ferry and hired a car on one day to see more of the island - Boomer Rental were great! You have to call them as they have no office but very friendly and dropped car at hotel. No hidden costs! (unlike RentalBrac)
We found a lovely little beach used by the locals. Great for kids.
Lovely little restaurants in the area.
This was an excellent stay. Easy and efficient meeting of the owner to pick up the keys when she showed us the apartment and private parking. Apartment very well equipped, full kitchen with dish washer, full size fridge-freezer, electric hob and oven. Washing machine (didn't use) in bathroom. Secluded and private balcony with table, chairs and one sun lounger and sun awning. Everything very clean. Minutes from center of Bol and the beginning of the pedestrian promenade leading to Zlatni Rat beach.
- Perfect secluded location but still only a 10 minute walk to the boulevard of Bol. Also only a 10 minute drive or 40 minute walk to Zlatni Rat, in our opinion the best beach on Braç
- Only a 30 to 45 minute drive to the towns from which the ferries leave
- Very clean when we arrived
- The family that runs it is very friendly and helpful with pointing you the way in Bol
- Great value, especially with the pool
Very warm welcome by hotel staff, and complimentary welcome drinks. The staff even took the effort to pick us up from Bol port, being super considerate that there's a uphill climb to reach the hotel.
Nice big rooms, very clean.
Staff recommended a nearby restaurant called Ranc, which is the best food I had in Croatia
Perfect location in the small harbour of Bol close to the ferry port & restaurants, bars etc.
30 minute stroll to Zlatni Rat beach.
Lovely breakfast with a beautiful vista.
Staff very friendly & helpful.
Would recommend if staying in Bol.
Apartment was great, clean and had everything you need. The host was nice and friendly.
Good location, next to a market. 6-7 minutes walk to Bol harbour, and 20 minutes walk to the famous beach Zlatni Rat.
