Paradise in Paradise! The gardens were amazing, the villa was beautifully appointed and the homemade breakfast deserved a Michelin hat. I loved the cakes straight from the oven. The yoghurt, blueberry and lemon was my favorite. So fresh! It’s easy to see why a former Emperor once stayed here. Nick and Helena were awesome hosts, giving us great local tips. We loved chatting to them.

Charming little town on the edge of the Adriatic. Plenty to see and do. Vidova Gora is a must with its stunning panoramas of the town below. A boat trip around the other islands is also strongly recommended. A romantic tree lined walkway links Bol to its famous beach, Zlatni rat. For those who prefer you have the option of traveling out to the beach by street train of by water taxi. Out at the rat there is an inflatable water park which will keep kids occupied for hours! Lots of nice restaurants to choose from. There are some businesses that only take cash (but these are in the minority). Also when looking for information on tourist attractions on Bol a chat icon comes up. We also found this extremely useful for finding out finer details. All in all Bol, to my mind is the perfect holiday destination, with or without children.

Bol is a beautiful harbourside village on the island of Brac. lovely bars and restaurants with fantastic views.
Golden Horn beach is pebble about 30 minutes walk from Bol centre.
The catamaran from Bol to Split is far easier than the Split to Supetar ferry as it avoids a lengthy and winding local bus journey.

At the time we went it was not crowded (but as it was after the “season” some restaurants, excursions and tourist attractions were closed. Please extend the season!!! Please stay open and keep working!!!

In this month, September, all is quiet and relaxed. Walk for the streets always is wonderful, the town architecture is perfect.
We have just stayed one night, and was enough for us. I think is perfect no more than two nights, but it depends on your trip plans.
We ate tuna hamburgers in Delish fish, delicious!!!! Recommended 100%!
The local people is fabulous and very kind.

Zlatni rat beach is amazing.
Zlatni rat beach is amazing. The promenade going to the beach is covered with pine trees it’s a beautiful place to walk. The village Bol has great restaurants to eat and nice shops.I highly recommend Vidova gora trail. The views from the highest point of the adriatics is sublime. If you are into wind and water sports you can do kitesurfing,windsurfing ,sub, kayak ect.

If you dont insist on visiting the most popular crowded beaches and prefer more quite places, Bol is definitely for you. Good restaurants, well supplied shops, nice beaches, even the nudist one is safe and with good access. Tip - find Czech beer in a small shop on Hrvatskog preporoda street!
We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely family run apartment. Just 5 mins walk to promenade or beaches. All facilities you cud need for holiday. Lovely outside space and pretty gardens. We had a problem with ferry cancellation and they very kindly allowed us to stay for extra night without charge and Ivona even spoke with people at our next destination to explain in Croatian for us. Fantastic service. Bol is absolutely stunning and we would highly recommend these apartments.
Perfect location from balcony. Able to watch people walk-by, great atmosphere. Close to restaurants & shops. We met host & room shown which was large and generous. Window from our bedroom & lounge showed sunset & sunrise perfectly.
Very comfortable bed & great facilities. Would stay here again. As in a-lot of Croatian towns parking is paid for and limited. You can park outside the room drop off gear, & pay across the road or go to the lot 400m for free which all locals use.
We vary the places we stay - from budget to better. Better often means being able to wash clothes halfway through a trip! House Racic would be hard to beat for location (about as near the ferry as you can be), excellent facilities, kitchen equipment like a proper home - knives, kettle, coffee machine - all perfect, lovely balcony, good a/c - just excellent. Jasmina is charming - speaks a little English, better German - both way better than our non-existent Croatian!
Good and refurbished room and bathroom, even tough the sleeping quarters was a bit small. The view from the balcony was very nice. Excellent AC. Superb Wi-Fi speed and coverage.

Bol is a very good destination for a family trip, it's less busy and has a more mellow vibe than for instance Hvar which is a ~45 minute speedboat trip away.
Breakfast was good, the best food was the omelet and the omelet maker was a star. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating! The rooms were nice and clean. The location was great. Nice hotel which I would visit again. I am deducting 1 point for "value for money" since there was a problem with Booking.com - see below. All in all I enjoyed my trip through Croatia and I can recommend traveling this beautiful country and this hotel for future stays.
We stayed in 3 different places during our time in Croatia and this one really was the best! Super comfy beds, great space, spotless with beautiful terrace with a sea view. Such a perfect location enjoying elevated views, short walk to beach, restaurants, take outs and 2 supermarkets. Ideal space for parents and 2 older teens. It was so homely and we were made to feel so welcome. Highly recommend and if we come back to Bol we’ll hope to stay here again!
The property is quaint and very well kept. A small, quiet oasis situated in a perfect location, right on the water and nestled between the port and the best beach in Bol. Mel, our host, treated us like royalty and was extraordinarily accommodating with all of our requests. He made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. We felt so grateful to have found this property, and will absolutely be returning the next time we’re in Croatia!!
The owner and I had been in contact prior to our arrival, she was generous enough to accommodate us for an early arrival. When we arrived we were unsure where to find the owner so took a guess and rang a doorbell. The property is an excellent location to the beaches and the port - just be prepared for some hills, lots of hills in Croatia. Excellent air conditioning, just in one room though.
The hotel is one of the best I've stayed in with very friendly staff. The hotel is very beautiful and is made of white Brac stone and is located in a fantastic location on the setalist, 500 meters from the most beautiful beach in Croatia. As for the food, I advise everyone to take at least half board because the food is extremely varied and delicious.

The owner ( Lady ) was very nice and the apartment was very Big and well equipped with all the things you could imagine at your own dream house. I would recommend everyone to stay at this place because this is the best house / apartment I have ever stayed in Croatia so far ( I have stayed in Zagreb, Split , Plitvice & Hvar but this house is really awesome ).

Everything about Villa Azzurra Bol is perfection! The rooms are spacious & clean with a wonderful view of the water. The restaurant’s food is so delicious and reasonably priced for the amazing quality. But most of all, the staff are the friendliest and loveliest people. Croatian hospitality at its best!
The location is perfect. It's right in the middle of town. You can walk to the harbor and bus terminal in less than 2 minutes. It's close to shops and restaurants. And, it's a beautiful walk to Golden Horn Beach, less than 2 kilometers.
The hotel is also a good value with a nice breakfast.
the location was great. a 10 minute walk down to the beaches and 15 minute walk to the ferry landing. the breakfast was the best we had in Croatia. there were so many choices. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The host and workers were incredibly kind and helpful.
Bol is a beautiful place. And our apartment was excellent. Great location, fresh new apartment, nice pool, very clean and the “owner” gave us amazing service and help everyday. This is probably the best place to stay in Bol. We will come back to this lovely place. ❤️❤️

Staff was really friendly and helpful. Especially the owner of the hotel was very kind. Last year we could not go to Croatia because of the Coronavirus and the owner was really flexible and we could easily move the dates to this year for free!
The acommodation was very clean and the host was very kind and hostile. Everything we needed - he was there for us. The beach is 3 minutes down the road, it is a perfect place to stay in Bol!
