We staryed for 3 nights in Serbia. The Sava Church, Food, Novi sad, Tito's Yugoslavian museum, cafes like Moskva hotel cafe, Mall, night life, food and other experiences exceeded our expectations. Most of the people told us that there is not much to see and we were surprised to discover jsut the opposite.

A perfect walkable city, with many options for night-out, food, strols around and shopping. Lovely and friendly people. Safe city for going out at nights. Plenty of museums and history to discover. Football and Basketball fans especially will love it because of the options the city gives for attending sport events.

The city is very organized and clean.
The city is very organized and clean.
The service in the restaurants ,cafes and shops is very good. Everyone is helpful and smiling. Except for DVA JELENA.
Although we made a reservation for this restaurant in advance, they reserved a table 3 floors underground.
Although the table arrangement and quality of the first two floors were quite good, the table arrangement on the 3rd floor underground was of very poor quality.
The live music quality on both floors was also much higher quality than the floor where our table was.
However, the menu prices were the same for everyone.
When we shared this situation with the reservation officers, they were very rude. We realized that there was serious discrimination. We paid our money without finishing our meal and left the restaurant.
In conclusion, I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. If I had the time, I would complain to the tourism authorities.

Very beautiful and authentic city!
Very beautiful and authentic city! The old part and the new part are very different from each other but each one has its own unique charm! There is a lot to see and you will definitely want to come back. You should definitely visit Kneza Mihailova, Kalemegdan, the new part along the Sava River, Nikola Tesla Museum, St. Sava Church and the bohemian district. Serbian skara is a must- cevapi, pleskavica and all the things that come with it. The people are very friendly and English is very common among them. The prices are a little higher. But the experience is worth it!

There is so much to do and see in Belgrade.
There is so much to do and see in Belgrade. It is a large European city with the usual traffic jams, so walking is the best way to explore it. Public transport is well-organized and easy to use, so don't bother with hiring a car.
Food is great, look for the traditional tucked-away restaurants, where locals eat. There are many museums worth visiting, I visited the Museum of Yugoslavia, well worth the visit, and only a few bus stops away from central Belgrade.
A word of warning for the Belgrade Airport - it is now owned by a foreign corporation and the prices are atrocious, even the newspapers cost more than in the town.

The owner was a friendly, very polite and helpful Serbian guy, who carried our heavy luggage, showed us where to park (very close to the hotel). The room was very clean and comforable. The location of the hotel was very central. We should have booked a slightly more expensive room, so we could have enjoyed a hotel room on the first or second level. Unfortunately we had decided to book the cheaper room, which meant, that we got a big, clean but souterrain room. We regretted not paying a little more for a room on a higher level.
One of the best hotel in Belgrade, Staff was very much courteous, and they go the extra mile to help you and serve you. We got a free upgrade to the suite room which was fantastic. Special thanks to manager Uros who has taken very good care of us while we stayed there. We had 2 days booking there and 2 days in Hilton, we loved it so much that we cancelled the Hilton and stayed 2 more days at Metropol. If you are traveling to Belgrade this is must book hotel.
Everything was amazing, from the polite and kind receptionist, the clean room, the amenities, the breakfast, and the location!! everything was value for money !!

Thank you so much for making our stay in Belgrade so memorable!

Hotel is a great place for people who does not want to overpay their stay in Capital of Serbia. Well connected with city center by public transportation.
