Second time in Belgrad, took the A1 shuttle bus from airport, the bus a bit crowded but is worked well and waiting time was about 20 minutes. Belgrad taxi, bus and trams works well. the variety of restaurants and bars is almost infinite. Nice people and price levels are okay. Belgrad offers a lot of culture and nice old town.

In my opinion, the main area to be visited first can be described as a circle with the center in Republic Square and the radius from Republic Square to the Danube River. This covers the confluence between the Sava River and the Danube River, Kalemegdan, Nikola Tesla Museum, etc. Depending on the visitor, this area can be extended circularly or by individual objectives.
Public transport is well-developed and very cheap. It is convenient to take travel cards for at least one day on all means of transport.
There are many places where you can eat quite well at reasonable prices. Serbian cuisine is delicious.

An expensive and impersonal big city - nothing particularly attractive. The public transport is not easy to understand and the railway station / airport very far from the city. Most of the shops and restaurants are expensive and are priced like any European city. The old city is one big tourist trap. People are helpful but not warm. The feeling of being in the Balkans is somehow missing.
On the plus side the city is more European and cultural than any other in the Balkans. The infrastructure is moderately good and flight connections plentiful. There's enough to immerse yourself in for 2-3 days including a great late medieval castle and a couple of well maintained museums.

Its really a good city to visit. 2-3 days of stay is sufficient for Beograd trip. Don't ever come in a summer months as it will be very hot. Ideal time might be in the transition months of winter to summer or end of summer. Clean and Safe city for any type of traveler.

The location is good, next to the centre, a non-stop supermarket and to bus and tram stations. The room was very thoroughly cleaned and the breakfast was delicious and varied, with enough options for vegetarians. If we ever visit Belgrade again, we will definitely stay at this hotel.
