bIts a beautiful hill city, once the capital of the otomans.
bIts a beautiful hill city, once the capital of the otomans. I would recommend at least 2-3 days to visit and take a tour guide to show you the city as best they can, Must visit the tea gardens, the old bazaar, the hamaams, the cable car to the top, Husseins famous Kebab shop and some traditional pastries and cakes in the multitude of fine cafes and shops in town. There is a 700 year old tree to be visited and a beautiful town 700 years old also along the way to Bursa from Istanbul. Must stop there for a visit if you are driving,. Roads to Bursa from istanbul are brilliant especially once you leave istanbul city traffic chaos.

Bursa is one of the nicest cities in Turkey.
Bursa is one of the nicest cities in Turkey. It’s historical gems, and modernity makes it great to stay. Everything Istanbul offers (except for the Bosphorus of course) Bursa has it. Traffic is OK. People are nice. Great Ulu mosque. And if you want to visit Istanbul: you can take the ferry to centre of Istanbul Besiktas in just an hour.

There is so much to see and do in Bursa.
There is so much to see and do in Bursa. The thermal baths, the cable car up the mountains, the vast amount of tea gardens and just general sights make it a great place to go and visit. Very easy to get about with the taxis, dolmus, trams, buses. So many different places to eat so never stuck for choice Find something different and new everytime we have been. Highly recommend it

The hotel was comfortable, warm, the staff was exceptional, I have not experienced such amazing hospitality like I did at this hotel in comparison to every other hotel I have been to in Turkey. Fatiah at reception was the most warmest person I have met, infact all of the staff including the other receptionist that afternoon was so pleasant and went out of her way to assist me to find a bandage. Thank you for the amazing hospitality.
Swissotel Uludag Bursa is a brand-new hotel complex nestled in the heart of Uludag National Park, surrounded by centuries-old pine forests. It was a lovely retreat from busy city life, offering a chance to connect with nature and enjoy fresh mountain air. The room was very comfortable, as expected from the Swissotel chain, and the amenities were excellent. The staff were helpful and kind, adding to the experience.
The hotel is right in front of Ulu Camii, maybe one of the best locations to visit Bursa. Overall clean and we've appreciated the AC, apparently in turkey it's a problem during summer, lots of places don't have it or have it broken (I live here so I know this problem well, and I still don't understand how they can make it during summer without AC)
The Hotel is located in the center of Bursa, close to shops, restaurants and caffes. The room was very confortable and so was the bathroom (the shower was great). The staff are very friendly. We spend the new year's eve in Bursa and the manager called serveral restaurants for us to book us a table. The breakfast is very nice.
They brought fruit upon checking in.The room was immaculate and very comfortable, big yet cozy.I had a great massage and scrub. It was smoke- free,I.never smelled cigarette smoke which was a wonderful change as in Turkey many people smoke.
