Happy hour was great. The buffet was not so great, the fruit seemed old and bacon was over cooked. The food was over priced.

My daughter and I were in town for the Taylor Swift concert. The Hyatt Regency went above and beyond in welcoming guests who were there for the concert with many Taylor Swift activities offered as well as Taylor Swift themed surprises in our room. The staff were incredible. We would definitely stay there again. While we were there, the hotel had a beautiful gingerbread house display as a benefit for an organization. We loved checking out all the amazing creations!

Vancouver is an outdoorsy city ranking among the world’s most livable, sheltered by Vancouver Island and the Pacific Range mountains. The most famous peak, Grouse Mountain, is a favorite spot for hiking and skiing. Take the cable car up for magnificent views of the city's skyscrapers and huge Stanley Park.
Skirting this park is the Seawall, a popular biking trail with paths passing the Vancouver Aquarium, picnic spots and a pitch and putt course. There are also a couple of beaches, but the best ones are along English Bay in Kitsilano.
Granville Island is just across False Creek from Yaletown and houses some quirky shops and markets. Ferries depart from here to near BC Place Stadium and home field of the city’s football and soccer teams. The legendary Vancouver Canucks ice hockey team play next door at Rogers Arena.

The Orpheum Theater with Vancouver Symphony playing the score to "Nightfall", a 007 film was amazing. This is our 3rd year in a row to attend. We love it. Then off to the Parq Casino for a few hours of fun a and dinner, and back to our Hotel-The Parker. Wonderful date night for a couple who has been married for 51 years. Wonderful Vancouver!

Really love Vancouver.
Really love Vancouver. Lots to see albeit there is a lot of homeless situated around the city compared to 13 years ago. If traveling to Vancouver at Christmas, a must is Canyon Lights at Capilano Suspension Bridge. Spectacular. Capilano has a complimentary pick up and drop off service so this makes it really easy. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was lovely. You need to book tickets online though. Walking around Canada Place with all the Christmas Lights was lovely. Went to the Christmas Markets for that little taste of Europe. Shame it is quite expensive to get in. Grouse Mountain is very close and worth visiting.

The city was gorgeous and inviting!
The city was gorgeous and inviting! We walked most places, but used the public transit a bit too - both bus and subway. We also enjoyed a trolley tour and saw some scenic skylines, bridges and parks.
Weather was raining most mornings in early December, but usually stopped before lunch time. We were comfortable with sneakers, jacket and hats, and wanted to be able to de-layer once inside the many indoor shopping centers, food courts, hang out locations.
We ate at several local small restaurants and even food courts - and everything was delicious! Lots of high end stores all over, and also really nice shopping malls - most are underground, so it's deceiving from the outside how big they are.
Would go back to do some of the sightseeing further from downtown area.

It's in a great location near all the main attractions. The building isn't the newest, but it's well taken care of. Adding a fresh coat of paint fromthe outside could make it look nicer, but what really stands out is how they focus on important things like safety, cleanliness, and good service. I really liked the modern digital lock system. It made everything so easy. Also, the prices at this hotel in Vancouver are the best around. Just be cautious if you see rates below $200 particularly in this city, it's probably a scam.
central location very near the harbourfront which was the main focus of our stay. Good cafes and restaurants within ten minutes' walk. Comfortable beds and very efficient housekeeping service with friendly staff. Convenience of booking e- bikes from the lobby. Very convenient for touring the western end of Vancouver eg Stanley Park , Granville Island, Gastown, the Classical Chinese Garden. Easy walking distance to Waterfront train station for the skytrain to the airport.
This is my favorite hotel in Vancouver. It is at downtown and very near of everything! Capilano or Whistler shuttles are in front of the it's door! The hotel staff are always available and very kind!
I've used to stay here when I was flight attendant for Mexicana Airlines and I remember this hotel as one of my favorite ones. I returned after 14 years and was pleasantly surprised to find that it is still excellent! Beds are wonderful!
Super friendly staff. , a warm welcome and attention to detsils. The room was comfortable, well equipped and very clean. The position of the hotel is perfect for Vancouver downtown and harbour activities. Public transport is in easy reach. Thanks for a great stay!
Excellent location. Limited parking but staff always had a solution which was fantastic. Rooms are spacious and the balcony is a great feature. Would definitely choose Blue Horizon Hotel next time I'm in Vancouver!
