Very clean. Service was excellent. Property had just reopened after the flooding so we were the only guests for those nights. Manager was ready to advise and assist us to have overall great experience at Inle Lake. Breakfast on the rooftop was very generous also.

I had such a lovely time there. The facilities are first rate and the staff is amazing. Everyone was so nice and so helpful. They put every effort into doing whatever was necessary to make my stay perfect. I was there kind of off season, so the spa was closed, but I wanted services, so they had someone come in for me. I had an amazing massage. The room was gorgeous, the bed was so comfortable, and I loved the shower. Breakfast was quite yummy and they had rooms service for other meals also. The boatman they had for my lake tour really took me all over the lake. The prices were reasonable, so I could relax and just enjoy the lovely place and not stress about anything.

The location is good, right on the canal. They have their own boat for a tour. The guy at the reception was very helpful. The place is good, but was damaged by the storm. So, they are still in the process of fixing things.

The host family is extremely nice and accommodating:they really made us feel at home. Thida is a gem - always smiling and coming up with an extra dish of goodies. We will miss them dearly. We would like to recommend them to anyone who comes to Inle lake.

I think this is maybe the only hostel that's still open in Nyang Shwe. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The rooftop was a nice place to hang out, and the food was pretty good. Overall I enjoyed it and I would stay there again.

I have been to this town on several previous occasions, (I live in Myanmar, and have an educational charity and donate at the various orphanages). Due to the current 'situation' in Myanmar, there are very few foreign tourists in Nyaung Shwe, and many larger hotels, restaurants and shops that cater to foreign tourists are closed. However, the locality is very safe and the local people are very friendly and helpful. The internet is relatively stable, but take a torch with you because the electricity supply to the town is only available for a few hours each day. Larger hotels have generators, but smaller hotels do not!

the town itself is a very quiet place to spend a few days, people are relaxed, life is slow and stress-free. there are many places to choose for lunch and dinner. can tour around with bicycle if short trips but need a motorbike for longer distances. the lake is ok but not as l would have imagined… the boat tour was more a commercial tour, with a stop at costly restaurant and shops where the driver gets a commission but the market on the lake is worth a visit.

Nice place to visit, the lake is beautiful nice to see the people working, I did the long boats with the loud diesel engines and the small rowing boat that I prefered because it is slow and noiseless.

The boats trips were a highlight obviously but we also took to chance to get well out of town on hired scooters, the Kakku pagodas were about the best that we saw in all of Myanmar except for Shwedagon. The town itself has has great spots to eat and some good nightlife too.

Inle Lake is a beautiful play to stay!
Inle Lake is a beautiful play to stay! We stayed there for 3 days and I guess that was exactly the perfect length. You can do sunrise boat tours, boat tours during the day to see the tobacco/ wool/ steel industry and so on. You can also rent a bike to see how they make tofu and sweets and to go to one of the vineyards. It is a really beautiful place!

The hotel and room is very worn, and needs serious updating. It smells old, and there was a lots of insects in the room. Power outage is a problem in Myanmar, and the Internet is awful. Beds are just medium comfy. Not my best stay in Myanmar. But, the price was low and the breakfast was decent though.
I appreciated the balcony, and the people working there was polite and nice.
I had a comfortable trip with the kind and smart guidance of hotel owner.
Breakfast cooked and served by the owner is so great. It has Western breakfast to local food. It tastes great, and the amount is abundant.
of course a day's boat tour and make sure to see the sunrise at dawn on the lake the stillness was sacred and very spiritual.
everything! the rooms were stylish, plenty of hot water, the gardens very pretty, the breakfast huge and diverse eating what the locals would eat, and the staff especially Phey Phey, were so attentive and helpful. The best hotel in Myanmar after travelling for 10 days.
Owner is just amazing, she will make sure you feel comfortable. Everything prepared in the room, around the place - for you. She even cooked for me the lunch box for my bus from Inle to Bagan.
Very nice and helpful family that runs this hotel, location is just by the river and close to nice Caffè with delicious coffee.
Room was basic but clean.
