Make sure you walk up to the castle for a bit of exercise, there is a lift - free to come back down but you pay to go up. The walk is steep but nice. Visit Barrio Santa Cruz area and go through Park Areta to see some authentic Spanish buildings and narrow streets, lots of Steps. Transport is easy and cheap, lots of nice places to eat, every type of cuisine you can think of and just chill on the beach or at a pavement cafe. The promenade and Esplanada are flat and scenic. The trees and flowers along the roads and walkways are beautifully done. Check out the massive ficus trees and fountains, very pretty.

I live an hours drive from Alicante and it offers everything. Lovely architecture plenty of choice of bars and formal and informal restaurants. Great for shopping beach life and handy for the excellent Airport close by. So the city has everything any traveller staying or just visiting for the day.

Probably the best venue that we have ever booked. We very often book hotels but wanted a bit more freedom this time so we booked this 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen and sitting room. It was in a great location, very central and close to the beach. The staff were super friendly and the apartments were excellent. I would recommend this venue very highly and if we were to return to Alicante this is where we would book.
Probably the best hotel in terms of price and performance that Alicante has to offer.
Pleasant quiet and nice stay. Clean hotel, but it is clearly not a 5 star luxury hotel with all inclusive, more for younger people who want to be centrally located. The center is right outside the hotel door!
Otherwise, clean, nice, air-conditioned rooms. Nice service and all in all an excellent stay.
