Kamala Beach area was nice. However, the Radisson Resort was not what we expected
Our entire experience at this hotel was horrible. I'm really not sure how it had so many stars. This Resort is at best a motel 6. There were snakes on the property, bugs in the bed. When we brought it to the front desk attention, we were told it's normal the bugs don't bite.. like what? The pool is nice but there are countless loose tiles in the pool. The kids were picking up the tiles and placing them outside the pool. Two of the kids cut there foot. The food was horrible. We had leak in our room one day, the next day the AC went out, the next day the hot water went out. It was literally always something. I would not recommend this hotel for families. Oh I forgot to mention, the level of cleanliness of the room is negative 1. This hotel has potential, but they need to shut it down and do some serious upgrades. We will never stay there again.

Kamala beach is a nice place where you can find many restaurants, all along the beach, or just behind, with good local food..
You can find shops such as 7 Eleven and Big C (5-10 mns walking from the beach).
You can rent a motorbike to visit the island, but you need international driving licence now...

I would highly recommend Kamala Beach.
I would highly recommend Kamala Beach. I had friends stay in Pattaya a couple nights and they told me not to bother going there, way to touristy and packed with people. If you're just looking to party then maybe you go there, but if you want a nice relaxing stay then Kamala Beach is the way to go. The water is awesome and with different activities as you walk along the beach. It's not overcrowded, and you won't have a hard time finding a place to tan or fight the crowd as you walk along. I enjoyed the fruit vendors where they would make you a fresh smoothie to enjoy in during a morning walk:)

Kamala beach was a relaxing and friendly beach.
Kamala beach was a relaxing and friendly beach. The locals were very friendly and hospitalble. I would stay away from the west end of the beach because I believe there may be raw sewage entering the ocean from a canal that had a sewage type odor. We did go to other beaches and they were all very busy and offered similar services.

The location is perfect, you are near to Kamal Beach, so many restaurents, shops, message shops.
This beach is not crowded. You are near to phuket fantsea and 20 minutes to patong beach.

At the hotel, people are kind simple.
We were upgraded to pool room at ground floor, u can access the pool directly, that was great.
The swimming pool main one was good, it has many statues making it different.
The room is specious make it comfortable.
The resort is beautiful with a great view of the ocean and gardens. The pool is a great spot to relax with a swim up bar.
The room had a comfortable bed with a private balcony overlooking the sea. The AC kept it nice and cool.
Secluded location with very few hawkers nearby or other tourists. Taxi service is nearby and the hotel can order a taxi in minutes.
The staff are helpful and will carry your bag up the hill in a car. There was a free shuttle bus every few hours to Kamala beach.
First of all, Bon is one of the friendliest and most helpful hosts I’ve ever had during my years of travelling. The hotel is very stylish/trendy, but still cosy :)
The room itself is super spacious and very clean. The bathroom is also very comfortable and with a lovely shower. We loved everything about this place and would definitely stay here again if we would go back to Phuket!
