What a little gem! Beautifully located right on the beach, with fantastic sea views from all the rooms. We chose a duplex with our own roof terrace, where we did yoga every day.
Our room was spacious and clean with a lovely jacuzzi bath. The staff were all very friendly and we really enjoyed our stay.
Kamala Beach is also a great choice to base yourself when in Phuket. Pretty and with lots of facilities but quieter than many of the more touristy beaches.

Front office staff was the worst part of the experience. They have terrible customer service and a lack of resource knowledge, they also become confrontational when it comes to disagreements - ie something as simple as clarifying check in and check out, their key card process is terrible. They don’t have an escalation process so be prepared to go through booking.com to help channel and sort through any problems. They also don’t have travel resource knowledge so be prepared to google yourself.
Rooms are a bit outdated and need work, paint, pluming or room repairs (shower head holder was not screwed in and paint falling off everywhere).
Cleanliness is great as they frequently clean and provide towels and replenish room essentials.
Pools were great and food was very well made and affordable.

There were plenty of loungers at very good price for hire - 100 Bhat each and you could order food which I believe they just uber eat to us. They were surprisingly tasty. There were plenty of restaurants along the beach. It offers a great place to enjoy sunset. There was a market for a couple of nights during our stay there. The only negative was the massage services along the beach were all outdoor. I would prefer to have it indoor with air conditioning.

I really liked the grocery stores and there was a great chinese wellness place near the Oceana Resort which I loved. There is an abundance of food options and party options if you are into that. It is very walkable and I felt safe as a solo traveler. Thai people are very nice and try to help always.

Kamala Beach is calm and peacefull, it is not so noisy like the rest. It suits for me, because there is a shadow under trees and I've allergy to the sun and swim bad, so bottom is very smooth and graduatelly inclined the waves are not strong and don't demolish. It's good for children.

If you're going to Kamala, make sure you try the little tent...
If you're going to Kamala, make sure you try the little tent streetfood/restaurants located just to the right of the green bridge before you cross the stream onto the beach. Honestly the best food we have ever tasted anywhere, ever! Leave a hefty tip, and the price will still be less than anywhere else.
The beach is awesome, perfect for families. Get a massage on the beach - those ladies are wonderful and some of the most hard working people you can imagine, so tip well!
Awesome place that we come back to regularly.
Much quieter at night, perfect for families, and only 15 mins to Patong beach if you want some crazy!
Love Kamala beach and the local people who live and work there!

Access to the beach strip relatively easy walking from the hotel. We dinned at several other local restaurants, many (like Smile Bar) trading on past reputations. Nanork Seafood offered a reasonable selection, very fresh ingredients and delightful staff.

We liked the room, it has a separate bedroom for the kids. We liked the breakfast and the pool. The Wifi was also very good.
Good service. The staff took us around the hotel in a club car if needed. The pool has nice beds around it to rest in the shade. Relatively close to other attractions on Phuket island. Carnival Magic is very close. Phuket city about 40 minutes drive.
The hotel staff is very friendly, delicious buffet breakfast (both european and thai food), room was really beautiful, clean with modern furniture and nice balcony. Nice swimming pool area. Great location - 5 minutes walk to the beach, 10 minutes walk to the street food market with local cheap food. Totally recommend this place for your stay in Phuket.
Amazing right by a beautiful beach in a great overall location. The staff could not have been nicer and the breakfast selection was great. We ate twice at the bar and found it good value for a resort. It is just under an hour transfer from Phuket airport. 5 minute taxi to good restaurants in Kamala but you could easily not go outside the resort!
Very much loved the room and the view from balcony....the private pool was amazing .... I liked the facility of complimentary bus service to Phuket beach and Kamala beach.
