The old buildings of Al Balad, that are now partly being restored, are impressive. A walk in this old part of the city is very enjoyable, with many bazars and restaurants.
Another remarkable site is the Corniche, with beautiful views of the sea, and a place to watch the locals having fun.

Felt safe especially walking around the city in the night. Unfortunately not everybody speaks or wants to speak English so if you know Arabic is a big plus. Otherwise just as I expected what it would be and remember the heat over there is at another level so if you're planning to visit Jeddah rather you go during the winter season

It is just livable when you have a taxi near with airco
On the beach you must wear full clothes and a suncap otherwise you can burn in 3 minutes!!!
And sandals bc feet burn
The Red Sea mall must be a part of the trip!

This an excellent 5 star hotel which offered an excellent facility in all aspects from the best breakfast and most comfortable bed on our trip to Saudi Arabia. The location right on the Jeddah cornishe is a lovely spot and the morning walks opposite the hotel observing the red sea tropical fish and evening strolls were memorable. This hotel deserves a far higher rating than many on booking.com.

Nice clean place to stay near airport. we took break before our long flights back home and it was great place to take rest. apartment was clean and above expectations. 24 hour front desk made our early morning check out super easy. food and store are near by,
