Otherwise just as I expected what it would be and remember the heat over there is at another level so if you're planning to visit Jeddah rather you go during the winter season

It is just livable when you have a taxi near with airco
On the beach you must wear full clothes and a suncap otherwise you can burn in 3 minutes!!!

I missed my flight thanks to the horrendous airport traffic...
I missed my flight thanks to the horrendous airport traffic and its terrible design! To top it off, there was only one access point for returning the rental car. Now, I'm stuck shelling out an extra 1000 SAR for a new ticket. This is absolutely ridiculous!

corniche was lovely to walk along. Beaches were not accessible along there though. Perhaps to do with Ramadan?
Red Sea Mall is probably very nice if you like shopping - not really my thing so didnt stay too long!
We told about other beaches where you could go snorkelling. But had limited time on our visit to do this. Having seen sting ray, turtle and tons of fish when walking along the Corniche I wish we had had time to do it

It was our first hotel in Saudi Arabia and we were surprised, how friendly and welcoming the staff was.
We had 2 adjoining suites, which were perfect and clean. The breakfast was also good, there was free coffee and dates during the day.
I can definitely recommend this hotel!
The staff was very helpful,nice and accomodating. The breakfast was very delicious and plenty. The rooms are comfortable and big.The cleanest hotel during our stay in Saudi Arabia. We enjoyed our stay there and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
