loved the forest, nature, fruits, culture. but too many tourist traps, some spots which are recommended in every guide are just designed for instagram shots. stay away from these spots. rent a bike and travel around the island. find your own path. don’t rent a car traffic is crazy.

the view, forests, meals (many options for vegans), culture, local people are very friendly to tourists, very clean air but very very touristic place. there are many spots suggested in bali guides are all instagram places and locals are pushing you to pay some amount for each attaction eg when you enter a touristic place you pay an entrance fee plus additonal fee to see&visit more. i know the economy is totally based on tourism but this is not a friendly approach. there are some hidden spots you may travel by yourself if you can ride a motorbike and living a moment in these places is just unforgettable and must i suppose.
