Breakfast was great and nice variety of choice!
Also a comfy bed and lots of hot water .
Lugger Hotel ‘A Bespoke Hotel’ is a unique 17th-century inn, beautiful escape right on the water’s edge, in the fishing village of Portloe on the Roseland Peninsula.

Location was perfect, staff very helpful, especially at breakfast. Room was comfortable, clean with a nice view. Portloe is small but walks are lovely and there is a pub close by for a bit of variety. Food very enjoyable.
I loved Mevagissey. The working harbour is a delight, as are the walks and nearby attractions. While a tourist destination, it still retains the charm of a seaside village with its local shops and village feel.

Lovely village, completely spoilt by a very small minority of vile residents who ignored visitors, were very negative and seemed resentful of ALL visitors.
We would recommend a day visit, but would not stay here again.

I had a one night stay in Mevagissey whilst walking the South West Coast Path and found it to be a nice, clean and picturesque location. Absolutely beautiful scenery in the area and in easy reach of a variety of other popular locations.

One of the nicer small harbours in Cornwall.
One of the nicer small harbours in Cornwall. Plenty of eating places and two small museums of local interest. Plenty of parking spaces but be aware not a place to drive through due to the narrowness of the streets which require plenty of patience.

Mevagissey is a picturesque fishing village by the sea. There are good restaurants, pubs and cafes. I had good meals at Sharksfin, Alvorada, Salamander and Fountains Inn. Nearby there are other attractions such as the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, and Charlestown.

The owners of the Tremarne were welcoming and wonderful to chat to, very accommodating, helpful and did all they could to make our stay exceptional. Such personal attention and interaction is truly appreciated. The location was wonderful, easy access to the town centre and other attractions in the area. The rooms were clean, smelled fresh, and the linens were excellent. The breakfast was very good, cooked to perfection; the dinner options were very tasty, served hot and promptly. We will return to the Tremarne when we travel back to Cornwall.
The location was a short walk into Mevagissey which was perfect. The room was very clean, decorated lovely, had a beautiful view and the facilities were fabulous. There was so much choice for breakfast and it was all freshly cooked and very tasty. The hosts were so welcoming and made it feel like a home from home. We absolutely loved our stay here, thank you so much, we would highly recommend and definitely would stay again!
The location is amazing, the hosting was the perfect mix of respecting our space and being there if ever required and the Cranny room is beautiful!
It's close to some built up areas while also being beautifully secluded, you're 10-15 minutes away from some wonderful beaches and within drivable distance to everything else in Cornwall.
100% worth a visit and there is a good chance we will be back!
We had a lovely, friendly welcome. The owners are very attentive and helpful. The hotel is in a great location and the room was clean and very comfortable. We got to eat breakfast with a beautiful view. We were there in September and enjoyed the area, whatever the weather. Would recommend and definitely would return.
It was easy to walk into Mevagissey Harbour with all of its shops and amenities, as well as lovely walks. I was worried about parking but it was easy, maybe due to the time of year. The cottage was clean and nicely decorated. We had a relaxing stay.
