Beautiful old property with new modern lodging, additions… It’s obvious most of the money spent building the huge spa and new lodging with less attention to the older building.

The town was quaint and full of history and character, very narrow streets not good for driving. The Pubs (Ship Inn) was excellent including the food if a bit pricey. The restaurants were excellent (Salamander and Polkirk One )Not cheap but good value for money. Very hilly trying to get out of town centre if you're old or athsmatic.Don't book a hotel up Polkirk Hill it's very steep.

Lovely little village and well worth a visit!
Lovely little village and well worth a visit! It has several really good pubs and restaurants. We’ve only ever been in October but I’m sure it would be lovely during the summer! Driving through the village if you need to get to accommodation up the hill can sometimes be a challenge. Just take it slow and not be in a hurry!

Small fishing port with hourly cruise options and fishing charters.
Various gifts shops, clothes shops, restaurants, cafes, etc.
Access is via narrow roads but there is a lot of parking.
Restaurants are mainly mid and high end with main courses roughly £15.00 upwards. Plenty of fish and chips and burgers, sandwich and pasty shops.
Plenty of great views from harbor and surrounding countryside.

Picturesque harbour village, plenty of places to eat out if you book early, the Salamander was our favourite. Locals are friendly and welcoming. Lovely to walk around very narrow streets. Brilliant little coves and beaches nearby, along coastal path walks.
Really good breakfasts with good choice and served quickly. Staff were young and friendly/worked hard. Beautiful location on cliff top overlooking the sea and was a lovely looking building with tasteful interior decor in public areas. Nutty Duck hotel restaurant closed at the moment and small choice of bar meals off which I had the best cheese board ever
The property is in a good location and within walking distance to the facilities offered in Mevagissey. There are a number of lovely restaurants and pubs. In particular The Ship served great food. The cliff top walks were lovely and gave great views over the harbour .It is a good sized property for a weekend break.
Location on edge of Mevagissey, easy to walk into the village. Breakfast was great, with a good choice. Room was very good, with good views. Hosts, Caroline and Mike there if you need them and know all the local information, as well as other areas in Cornwall. Overall, excellent, couldn't be faulted
The hotel has an amazing location just a short stroll from centre of Mevagissey. Breakfast was excellent with lots of healthy choices and was served in a room with wonderful sea views. Our room was quiet, cosy and with everything you could need for a comfortable stay.
