We had a wonderful experience, welcoming and relaxing, beautiful grounds. Thee owners couldn't have been more helpful or attentive. The breakfasts were made exactly to order and we will be back.
I loved Mevagissey. The working harbour is a delight, as are the walks and nearby attractions. While a tourist destination, it still retains the charm of a seaside village with its local shops and village feel.

Lovely village, completely spoilt by a very small minority of vile residents who ignored visitors, were very negative and seemed resentful of ALL visitors.
We would recommend a day visit, but would not stay here again.

I had a one night stay in Mevagissey whilst walking the South West Coast Path and found it to be a nice, clean and picturesque location. Absolutely beautiful scenery in the area and in easy reach of a variety of other popular locations.

One of the nicer small harbours in Cornwall.
One of the nicer small harbours in Cornwall. Plenty of eating places and two small museums of local interest. Plenty of parking spaces but be aware not a place to drive through due to the narrowness of the streets which require plenty of patience.

Mevagissey is a picturesque fishing village by the sea. There are good restaurants, pubs and cafes. I had good meals at Sharksfin, Alvorada, Salamander and Fountains Inn. Nearby there are other attractions such as the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, and Charlestown.

We loved how friendly Caroline and Mike were. Our room was so cosy, clean and fresh. Cleaned to a high standard every day. The breakfast was amazing with everything you could think of. The atmosphere was very relaxing. Very quiet and peaceful. We loved watching the swallows flying every morning at breakfast time. The location was literally a 5 to 10 minute walk to the centre of Mevagissey.
Perfectly situated in the heart of Mevagissey, eveything is to hand. Beautiful Stone's throw cottage is a lovely haven to relax and unwind. Fran is exceptional, always with a smile on her face and so very helpful. This bijou place is a perfect home from home.
Breakfast is varied and delicious - loved the presentation.
I will be coming back here regularly, so glad I have found it!
The Property is set in the most idillic location of Cornwall, Close to mevagissey’s coast it is a prime spot to relax and unwind for a few days. The Property itself is stunning, you can clearly see how much hard work that the owners have put in over the years. Situated between valleys and rolling fields makes this stay the most tranquil spot I have personally visited.
High quality hotel in a convenient location for Mevagissy and surrounding area. Easy parking. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly, greeting us with a cream tea with delicious homemade scones. Hotel and bedroom was very clean throughout and a comfortable bed. Tasty, freshly cooked breakfast with quality ingredients. Already planning a return visit.
The hotel has an amazing location just a short stroll from centre of Mevagissey. Breakfast was excellent with lots of healthy choices and was served in a room with wonderful sea views. Our room was quiet, cosy and with everything you could need for a comfortable stay.
