The room was clean and tidy and the sofabed was actually very comfortable. The staff were attentive and very friendly. There's a lovely little bar downstairs for a drink in the evening.

There was one employee there who was very friendly and kind. Poor girl was doing three jobs at once closing the dining room, serving the bar and working the front desk. She deserves praise.

I loved absolutely everything! It exceeded my expectations. Beautiful property throughout. My room, Betsi, was very well equipped, with personal touches and great attention to detail. I even had a kitchenette that I didn't expect. The owners, Claire and Chris, were really lovely, too.

The host was very engaging, thoughtful, and helpful. We had a medical issue while we were there, and she was helpful in helping us figure out how to deal with that in a different country.
The continental breakfast was very nice. Her coffee was excellent! Just what we wanted.

We had a car so this apartment was perfectly located for us to see around Wales. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was perfect and the directions to it where very clearly given. The amenities were everything we wanted for our stay and the Host was always available by message. It as very quiet, clean and tidy. The parking spot was right below the apartment and only a few stairs to climb with luggage.

The breakfast is excellent.
The superior rooms are much larger and nicer with a small difference in price but they are definitely worth.

Definitely need a car to get around this area. Not quite the luxury I was looking for. Accomodation and breakfast where I stayed was fairly basic. Quite limited in eating out options too.
Managed to walk the Pen y Fan which was the highlight of my stay here.

Nice town with some lovely places to go for a drink and a bite to eat. Friendly bar with live music at the weekend. Also there is a Wetherspoon. The Zip World was only a 30 min drive away and is fantastic. Great scenery and walks near by.

Only stayed 2 days and then was at an event so not enough time to explore. However on an evening plenty of places to eat and drink. Tesco Extra and range of other shops incl. Saturday street market. Train and bus transport hub, and plenty of places to explore a short distance away.

Liked the fact it has good public transport links to the Brecon Beacons the town itself looks a bit run down in places like many these days but had everything we needed with lots of things to do nearby. We enjoyed climbing Corn Du, Pen Y Fan, visiting Lyn Cwm Llwch, walking along parts of the Taff Trail, visiting The Brecon Mountain Railway, Cyfarthfa Castle and park as well as things further a field.
Everything! I really enjoyed stay here. They also thought of the little things that really make a big difference to creating a lovely experience/stay. If I'm back in Merthyr Tydfil, I'll book here again.
Next time I may hire a car though, so I can get to Brecon Beacons and Wye Valley for hiking. Because I only had a couple days, and taking public transport takes much longer, I unfortunately missed out on the hiking that one can do around this area
Individually decorated studio. Brilliantly furnished. Had everything I could ever need. I had toyed with the idea of staying in the travelodge down the road, but this was so much better and was cheaper than the impersonal hotel. Comfy bed, felt at home.
It was a perfect place to stay at whilst we enjoyed the slopes at Bike Park Wales. There was even a safe bike storage outside. Everything was comfortable and spacious and we thoroughly enjoyed staying there.
Near to bike park wales and all amenities. New linen throughout. The pool table and space invader machine went down well with the kids.
Well equipped kitchen.
