The host was very engaging, thoughtful, and helpful. We had a medical issue while we were there, and she was helpful in helping us figure out how to deal with that in a different country.
The continental breakfast was very nice. Her coffee was excellent! Just what we wanted.

The breakfast is excellent.
The superior rooms are much larger and nicer with a small difference in price but they are definitely worth.

Definitely need a car to get around this area.
Definitely need a car to get around this area. Not quite the luxury I was looking for. Accomodation and breakfast where I stayed was fairly basic. Quite limited in eating out options too.
Managed to walk the Pen y Fan which was the highlight of my stay here.

Nice town with some lovely places to go for a drink and a bite to eat. Friendly bar with live music at the weekend. Also there is a Wetherspoon. The Zip World was only a 30 min drive away and is fantastic. Great scenery and walks near by.

Only stayed 2 days and then was at an event so not enough time to explore. However on an evening plenty of places to eat and drink. Tesco Extra and range of other shops incl. Saturday street market. Train and bus transport hub, and plenty of places to explore a short distance away.

Liked the fact it has good public transport links to the Brecon Beacons the town itself looks a bit run down in places like many these days but had everything we needed with lots of things to do nearby. We enjoyed climbing Corn Du, Pen Y Fan, visiting Lyn Cwm Llwch, walking along parts of the Taff Trail, visiting The Brecon Mountain Railway, Cyfarthfa Castle and park as well as things further a field.

We saw lots of cyclists whilst traveling in our car. Found the area very dog friendly which suited us .
The hotel is lovely with nice views of the manicured lawns. The spa facilities were great. The breakfast was excellent.
Choice of vegetarian and full Welsh breakfast served to the table.
The rooms were slightly smaller in size but had everything in them.
Clean towels, kettle and hair dryer etc.
The house was big and spacious for us and very clean. The location was also good because its near the place we wanted to visit and it's walking distance to the shops and takeaway..The host was also very helpful.I will recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit South of wales
Lovely quiet location. Warm, clean and well equipped. Lynne has thought of everything. I visit bike park Wales regularly and have definitely found the perfect base. I won't be using hotels again. The shed exceeded my expectations and as a lone traveller it also felt very safe.
The room we stayed in was very clean and spacious, with a good view. There's even a massage bath in the room. The hotel decoration is quite lovely especially if you like vintage style. The restaurant provides cavalry and the full breakfast's good.
