This bed and breakfast is stunning and sits on a beautiful, serene property. I couldn’t have chose anything more perfect. The house is beautifully decorated, the rooms are large and the bed was so comfortable! Leslie was an inviting host with great attention to detail. Our breakfast was delicious and started our day off just right. Great vistas of the water too. This is a great place to stay if traveling the John Muir Way. We highly recommend and look forward to coming back again. Be sure to enjoy the large, old Sequioa tree on property - while it’s young in terms of Sequioa’s, it’s majestic. Thank you Leslie and Simon for sharing your home with us.

The location was perfect, with beautiful coastal views right on the doorstep . We enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of great dining options nearby. The train station was walking distance to the accommodation. The accommodation was spotless & the beds were extremely comfortable. We had everything we needed for our stay provided. The WiFi was great & we enjoyed having a movie night by the cosy fire. On arrival we were delighted with how spacious this property was .Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We cannot recommend Andy & Pauline and their property highly enough. They both communicated with us before & during our stay . We will definitely be returning! Dec 2024
I wish I could have stayed longer. Helensburgh seems to be a wonderful place. I will definitely come back and stay at the 20 Boutique hotel and visit the architectural museum, walk in the beach and discover more of this little city.

What I liked most about Helensburgh was its peaceful atmosphere and stunning views of the Clyde, especially during early morning walks along the waterfront. The town has a charming, laid-back vibe, and its proximity to both nature and nearby attractions made it a perfect base for exploring. However, I found the dining options a bit limited, especially for late-night meals. Still, the overall experience more than made up for those minor inconveniences.

Great independent cafes and restaurants.
Great independent cafes and restaurants. We had amazing coffee and cakes at Overflow. The Ginger breadman was delicious for breakfast and lunch, also good coffee. Amazing pizzas at Padrones and lovely dinner and wines at the Sugarboat to name a few! The town has many nice independent shops too and a local cinema. Buttercup moon do some gorgeous kids and baby clothes. Monty’s farm is great for young children, with animals, soft play with good coffee, which is a short drive away. The lochs are only a short distance with some of the most beautiful views on some great walks. I’d definitely recommend and come back here again.

Some great places to eat and shop.
Some great places to eat and shop. If you fancied Chinese one night and Spanish the next it’s a very short walk from one to the other. Two train stations and regular buses to reach all parts of the country. Some pubs a no go for out of towners. The Sun Chip Shop was the best I’ve visited outside of Edinburgh.

Very nice and clean property. Comfortable and accessible to all major attractions . Maximum 03 minutes walking distance to Helensburgh Central Station and sea front. Very near to number of food shop. Free parking on the street. I feel like my home. Definitely, I will recommend my family and friends to book this apartment. My next visit to Helensburgh, my first preference is this apartment . The Landlords' reply is good. Money wise, excellent price.
Location by the railway station and not far from the seafront was fantastic. The house, furnishings and bedding were lovely and the lady managing the house was very friendly and welcoming. The coffee served with the breakfast was the best I have ever had in a A Scottish hotel/B&B.
Good comfortable bed good Wi-Fi which is free unlike some places shower was excellent breakfast meat free was good there was something there for everyone so stop whinging about 1 mile from centre of Helensburgh.. Hotel is run by some lovely people
The room was very clean and comfortable and the whole Hotel was very clean. The breakfast choice was very broad and great value and the dinner menu looked good although did not have dinner in the restaurant area. All the staff were very friendly.
What a gorgeous B and B with a Scottish theme. All "staff" are so joyful. Tea and muffin + cream 😋 when we arrived. Delightful breakfast. The ONLY place to stay in Helensburgh 🤩
