Staff were very friendly, pub was cosy and the menu was great. They also had freshly made sushi you could buy after hours.

Lovely studio in a beautiful setting, with its own secluded garden. Extremely clean and well set-up. It was a perfect base for us as we went to a music festival nearby.

The comfort of the apartment, the quietness and the parking right outside the door was ideal. We also found that it took only a few minutes to be sat outside on a glorious sunny evening at The George gastro pub down by the bridge and right on the river... wonderful. The welcome pack left for us was so considerate, including some drinks in the fridge: they really look after their guests. If we happened to be back in the area for any reason we would not hesitate to check The Snug out first.

It's not the place for you if you're looking for modern shops. Eating places are quite poor though you can go to Salisbury or Southampton. If you just want a quiet peaceful holiday without going to travel to other places, there is a park with facilities for children in the centre of the town. Seemed very inactive even at weekend. .

Lovely old bridge and river that ran through the town.
Lovely old bridge and river that ran through the town. The George pub has wonderful views of both , with good food and decor and service . Didn’t have time to explore the shops but could do with more cafes . Fabulous kids playground right by the river with car park , excellent football pitches , skate board ramp and basketball court and a cafe /toilets and a paddling pool in the summer . Very lovely farm and cafe called Hocky’s farm just outside Fordingbridge .

Fordingbridge is very easy to get around, there are lots of nice restaurants nearby and lovely scenic walks. I had fabulous lunches at The George and The Royal Oak, and I had a yummy breakfast at The Potting Shed. It's a great place to visit for a short break.

The river is beautiful. some interesting food shops, especially traditional butchers.
Traffic heavy at times through village centre combined with narrow pavements requires attention when walking especially with young children.

Fordingbridge is a lovely small town and very scenic.
Fordingbridge is a lovely small town and very scenic. The George Pub is a great place to have a meal. It is dog friendly and the staff are really welcoming. The food selection is very good too. There are a couple of Pay & Display car parks. The Library car park in the centre is well located if you need to do some shopping. There is a Tesco Express as well as a small but well stocked Co-Op store.
Quirky hotel with a crisp feel, the staff are vary accommodating and friendly. The rooms are perfectly sized and much more comfortable than a standard hotel. The atmosphere is relaxing, the food is on point, there was live music on the Saturday
What can I not say about this hotel? The old building has been so lovingly maintained. The bedrooms had every item.one needed for a comfortable! The breakfast was perfect to everyone's liking and plentiful.
*Beautiful location: located next to Fordingbridge with Salisbury at a 30min Drive. Moreover, easy access to hiking trails with wild horses
*Friendly personnel
*Good Price Quality
