The staff were friendly and helpful. My wife dropped her charger, and the staff found it and handed it to the reception. The location is superb—just a 3-4 minute walk to Brighton Pier, and the seaside is literally a 1-minute walk from the hotel; you just need to cross the road. The rooms are spacious, clean, well-maintained, and stocked with complimentary water, tea, and coffee. The sauna, gym, steam room, and pool are free of charge for hotel guests.

The room was very good but we could have done with a little more cupboard space. The only space to store clothes were the 2 very narrow upright spaces at the back of the bed.

The staff were friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was hard and I thought I would struggle to sleep, but it was great, had a very good sleep in the end. Very happy with the accommodation. Very thoughtful leaving bottles of water in reception. You can see the owner is an organised and practical person and they have a passion for the industry. The little detail, lights above the room number is a nice touch. The common area is in need of some tender loving care. Assume this is due to people coming in and out with suitcases and scuffing the walls. But the room was very clean and look newly refurbished. Great find! I will use this accommodation again.

Stayed in the Ali room for first two nights, then extended another two nights in the Star Wars room, all at discounted rates. The detail in both rooms was really extraordinary and a great way to cap off an otherwise more rugged backpacking trip for myself. Also, I was unexpectedly surprised by how good the range of water temperatures in the shower - very relaxing and better than a lot of other places I stayed at. You could spend a long time gazing at the walls of the place, like a museum. Staff (Alice, Lily) were super-helpful and friendly.

It's got building work and road works everywhere at the moment. Lots of people at night you don't want around, like any city I suppose. Beach is not nice, sea is not nice compared to Devon and Cornwall proper beaches but better than nothing, saw no reason to ever return, kids felt the same. If it was a hot sunny day, anywhere is OK, but it wasn't and I didn't like it.

A city by the sea with old charm and character and lots to explore.
The lanes and 'the hippy end' are full of quirky shops. There are great coffee shops, pubs and restaurants all in walking distance of each other, vintage, antiques and art at every turn.
Bustling as it is a student town and friendly. Lots of live music to enjoy.
We loved Casa Don Carlos (authentic tapas with great specials located in the lanes) and The Coal Shed for charcoal cooked steak.
Great lunch at The Shelter on the sea front. Found The Walrus to be a nice cosy pub, amongst lots of others!
The Theatre Royal looks beautiful inside but we didn't have time to go in and will save that for our next trip. The Brighton Dome is beautiful and again we will visit on our return as our 2 days was mainly shopping and eating!

Would recommend this hotel to anyone. It has everything. Every single staff member that we encountered was polite, friendly, and welcoming. The rooms are amazingly comfortable with massive king sized beds. The breakfast in the morning was delicious with an abundance of choice and selection available. The location is 10/10 - perfect for the beach and the pier but also perfect for shopping and The Lanes. If you’re going to Brighton, this is the hotel to choose!
We booked this hotel for a 2 night break as we were attending Brighton on the beach festival. The location was great the room was very quirky and modern absolutely loved the decor the breakfasts were amazing the best veggie breakfast ive ever had the bar was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful too lovely stay we would defo book again and bring out doggie next time as we seen it was doggie friendly
Best place to stay in Brighton. I cannot rate this guest house enough, it’s a 5 star hotel with all the friendliness of a small guest house and so much more. This place is worth 6 stars in my opinion and we will be staying there again soon for sure.
This is probably the fifth time I have stayed here with work and by far the best place I’ve stayed in Brighton for value and comfort , we were used to the big chain hotels but these offer a lot more
Location was great, sea-view room was good, loads of space. Helps that the hotel offers parking permits for £8, cheapest parking you'll get in Brighton seafront.
