The owners, Adam and.. Joanne - run a great little guest house that is very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble, if you ask.. - clean, well organized but friendly also. Had a two-night stay which I could not fault value for money and a great breakfast..!

Disappointing, very run down with lots of empty shop units.
Disappointing, very run down with lots of empty shop units. Easy to park. Very few shops overall. Could be a lovely location but needs investment to improve the area. A shame as I am sure a lot of tourists would visit if it had more to offer.

There is some interesting architecture and the pier but Bangor itself feels a bit rundown. Really struggled to find good places to eat and drink. However, it's a great location for exploring the wider area.

Not much going on but we only used it as a strategic location. i woukld not go there just to see bangor. Didn't seem like much was going on. we didn't see enough of Bangor to give a full review but on what i did see, i would not go back, not even as a strategic location for access to wales.

The main part of the town is very run-down, lots of empty shops, dirty, lots of rubbish in the streets. We have only been to the bus station at Bangor before, not stayed there, but will definitely not visit again. There are better shops and pubs closer to the train station at the other end of the town.

The pier is beautiful -and it always seems to be sunny with blue skies . The walk up by the side of the pier to the management centre is lovely . Just over menai bridge to the left is church island to walk round -along the Menai straits -with beautiful sunset views .menai is to the right -again lovely walks under the bridge . Everywhere is close to drive to - Beaumaris - with its pier and castle is not far away . Penrhyn castle is a lovely day out -as are cadnant gardens and plas newydd -you can definitely fill a week easily . Conwy and caernarvan are at each side -lovely days out-castles and steam trains . I could fill a fortnight - longer even ! A great place to visit .

Being from the USA, Bangor, and Wales in general are SO beautiful and the people are so nice and kind. We love being able to travel here. Being that were visiting in December, a number of the typical tourist spots were closed for the season. However, we made the most of it. This included a trip to Wrexham, Mold, Caenafron, and other locations. If you are an American travelling there and you're renting a car, it would be a good idea to have someone in your party who can drive stick. We rented a car from Enterprise in Holyhead and even though we were promised an automatic transmission car (Bangor and North Wales are quite hilly) we wound up with a manual transmission. They they would replace it, but could not. Luckily I knew how to drive stick. Also, a number of roads are narrow so take your time.

Beautifully decorated house, very modern and bright. Facilities were excellent with plenty of space in each bedroom. The owner, Daisy, was great and couldn't do enough to help - keeping in touch with us prior to our stay and giving us hints and tips on the best places to eat and visit. Location was ideal just across from the harbour and a 10 min walk from the "2nd longest pier in Wales", and a 5 min car journey to the centre of Bangor.
In short a highly recommended place to stay in Bangor.
Very homely place - has everything needed, with well appointed kitchen & bathroom. All of Snowdonia, Anglesey & large area of N Wales is within easy reach (as long as you are driving).
Easy contact with hosts - lots of nice touches on arrival including welcoming beer & biscuits. I never saw the hosts but knew they were only a text/call away if I had needed them.
Great location for exploring Anglesey and North Wales with ample parking close to hotel. Quiet area. Good sized room and clean. Excellent breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great views of the Menai Straits and scenic walk down to Bangor Pier from hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
Peaceful, comfortable warm home. Nice furnishings, good beds. Everything you need for a good stopover. Bangor is well placed for visiting many of North Wales special places. The advertised parking was excellent and easy enough to use
Welcoming staff, that were so helpful, really accommodating and willing to go out of their way! Perfect location for exploring North Wales, on main routes to Llandudno, Bangor, Anglesey!
