This was an excellent find! A recently opened labor of love. We were enchanted that this hotel was refreshed and reopened after being shuttered for many years. Those who undertook this endeavor stayed true to the building, it’s history and architecture. Vintage decor with high quality linens. We enjoyed a spacious room with a juliet balcony overlooking the mountains. Absolutely charming, located on cobblestone streets about 2 blocks from the train station.

Incredible view. This just can't be beat. And the bottom of the funicular is very conveniently located next to a bus stop and two train stations, and a wonderful trail to Lake Staz.

The property is exceptionally beautiful, almost like a gallery. Samedan is a small village easily accessible to St Moritz and Glacier Express train that i took with my kids. The breakfast buffet was amazing, food healthy and fresh, the Brazilian staff member was very nice and helped with the mess my kids made. I would love to come back in the summer. Strongly recommend this property.

The apartment was in a great location to golf, exploring the town and walking to dinner. There was a supermarket very close by and a little farm market across the street from the apartment the morning of our departure- where we picked up some fresh fruit, pastry and coffee

If you are staying in St Moritz Samedan is a great option because it’s cheaper, only 7 minutes away by train and many hotels are just a short walk from the railway station unlike in St Moritz where you will have to take a bus or a taxi if you have luggage to get to the hotel

Nice small city.
Nice small city. Very good base for approaching the ski resort Corviglia and other, as well. Good shopping posssibilitiess. Easy to access. Despite the heavy snowing municipal services are working very well - street cleaning, bus and train connection.

That it was the only available in the Engadin Valley. All Hotels otherwise closed. Access with the key was very easy and went really well even though I was a bit worried before I got there because there was no phone number in case of a problem.
