I did not get to explore much of Mactan as we went on a trip to Bohol for a couple of days. When we returned, it was time to leave the next day. We were using ‘Grab’ and ‘Taxi’ for transport. I suggest to get the driver to turn their meter on as some of them don’t, especially when they noticed that you are from abroad. They charge you a flat fee which can be more expensive than the metered travel. I still have to explore Mactan, so don’t where the best eating places are.

Mactan is where the international airport is so it is very convenient to stay in Mactan and launch your travels and tours of the Cebu attractions from there. If you prefer to stay close to where the parties are and on the beaches, then you would have to stay in Cebu. Mactan itself offers a good variety of restaurants, local and foreign, especially Korean and quiet accommodations with great views of he sea.. There are many Korean Spas and restaurants. For entertainment there are a few clubs with live music and the friendliest girls you will ever meet.

Cebu generally and Mactan are over crowded and 15km trip takes more than one hour. the place has nice natural views and water activities as well as the Safari park which was very good. not highly recommended for family.

Location is goed, you can rest in the middle of the center busy streets and neighbors. Small but cozy and comfortable.Owners and personeel are very friendly and attent, you feel at home.Food is yummy.Sure going back next time.

Savoy Hotel and Sebastien Hotel are great, clean and have value for our money. Savoy is perfect as it has visit to the beach included in your stay, for free. The food is a little off to me..the pancit (fried noodles) was swimming with oil, same with longganisa, but we still find it nice. The welcome drinks (water and water with fruit slices) is an added come on. Rooms are great.. the pool is perfect but a little small. One set back is you cannot visit your friends who are in other floors above your accommodation; you need to call your friends and or see you in the ground floor before you can visit their floor. The key card doesnt take you anywhere if your accomm is on the 3A, except in the pool which is 3rd floor and the function hall, 2nd floor. The restaurant is quite small because of the big population of guests.

Very clean and new, nice pool and very good gym for a hotel. Good breakfast selection and good location if you are staying on Mactan. Loads of restaurants and dive spots just a short Grab away. Also close to the pier where you can get a ferry to Olango Island.
Water refill for free, very good breakfast, comfortable room with own bathroom, AC was loud, but good for the day use, comfortable bed, very kind and helpful owners, late check-in in the middle of the night.
The location is very close to the supermarket, bank, and other stores and a 24-hour convenience store. The room rate is affordable, and all the staff are hospitable and helpful.
