The triple room is spacious with window, clean and tidy, bed is comfort, attached with dry and wet separated bathroom, water heater works well, towel, hairdryer, kettle also provided. Take the room on the 3rd floor with the river view for a nice view and you can see the big "Kuantan" word at the bank. Same with other comments, breakfast is well enough for a 2-star hotel. They have 3 main dishes for breakfast which is nice to me. Also the hotel is near to the Kuantan 188 tower, and also the Art Street is just right across the street (go at night for the night market along the street).

Pantai Sepat beach, wind is breezy, chill, not too crowded when we visited in the morning around 9am.
You need a car to get around Kuantan.
Kula Cakes's Mango Cheesecake was not bad.
Don't go to Hoi Yan, it is super over-rated, their curry noodles is nothing special and drinks are bad.

Kuantan has very cheap and nice food.
Kuantan has very cheap and nice food. The price of Grab is very cheap to get around. There are numerous shopping malls to buy anything you need.
Kuantan is very hot and humid. It is ok to be out and about pre 1000h and again after 1800h. The shops are slow to open and there is no point going out before 1100h to shop, however, the shops are open later in the evening to around 2100h each day.

My wife and I are food hunters. We've had the best Patin Tempoyak at Mabiq, The best Durian Cendol at Mustafa and bought Tapai Ubi at the wet market. We tried the Pudding Diraja but didn't enjoyed it. We stayed at Swiss-Bell Hotel in Tanjung Lumpur and the hotel has a breath-taking view from our room. Worth visiting Kuantan again.
The room was very comfortable and clean. The beach especially was beautiful and clean and we really enjoyed swimming, walking along the beach and the sunrise. Facilities at the hotel was good as expected. However the walking bridge by the beach, maintainence was very bad and very dangerous to the visitors. It has been a while, the town council should have been more observant and seriously maintain the facilities. It affects visitors overal experience at Teluk Cempedak including guests from the hotel.
The only plus point for the hotel is the location which is just next to Kuantan's 188 Tower. Everything is just walking distance. But unfortunately it wasnt a pleasant stay at the hotel given the price. Its like an OYO Hotel experience but on the pricier side. Facilities are quite old, cramped lift but it was a clean hotel.
The view at the swimming pool! Can see the Kuantan Tower and Masjid Negeri. And the breakfast buffet is good. Old design hotel with modern interior. Masa masuk, rasa macam vvip. Haha Staff hold the door for us, tangan di dada gitu. 🙊 Ada underground parking.
The environment of property is really good for healing either you're alone or with family..very near to Bandar Kuantan and also just a few steps to Teluk Cempedak beach.
