Pantai Sepat beach, wind is breezy, chill, not too crowded when we visited in the morning around 9am.
You need a car to get around Kuantan.
Kula Cakes's Mango Cheesecake was not bad.
Don't go to Hoi Yan, it is super over-rated, their curry noodles is nothing special and drinks are bad.

Room was very clean, well maintained & spacious. Variety of food options for breakfast & the chef can personally do vegetarian dish for you too. Very friendly staffs & easy check-in & check-out process. Receipt is given upon request, overall this is a fantastic hotel & all the attraction places are very nearby plus it's walking distance. The staff were universally helpful and friendly, and made us feel welcomed and relaxed. The location is great for the beach, and local F&B outlets. It's also not very far from Kuantan town, so it was pretty convenient to visit local sights. In addition the zoo and the Royal Pahang Golf club are very near.
Best location beside the river and Menara Kuantan 188. Have rooftop terrace lounge to enjoy the Menara and riverview. Free parking for hotel guest. Only 15 minutes walk to riverfront McD, Texas, Familymart. The hotel room is clean, comfortable and value for money. Breakfast also worthy with varieties.
as expected from hotel of this era. not overly hyped by people, yet brings back memories of going to hotel when we were kids. pool is great. only downside adult cannot get on slide. hotel got beach which convenient. beach also not so deep and small wave. can consider again next time in kuantan.
