Small boutique hotel but with clean rooms, great staff, and a quiet location. The staff is exceptionally attentive and helpful. We arrived very late in the night and they were able to offer us some sandwiches and fruit even though it was well past dinner time.

We initially booked for just one night and didn’t expect much, but when we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised and extended our stay for another four days with a discount. This is a nice hotel near the beach which has about 15 rooms, all alongside of each other.
It’s a short walk (5 minutes or less) down a short dirt road to the beach. There is a number of restaurants/bars there where you can use the beach lounges and etc.
They provided beach towels - a big plus.
The breakfast was delicious and significant - with the offer of Sri Lankan or continental. We stuck with Sri Lankan, which included fresh fruit, pancakes, hoppers, curry, and eggs.
Having looked up and down the beach, this is one of the best areas of the beach to stay at and this property is one of the better ones.
The swimming pool is very refreshing and well maintained - great for a swim after the beach or when you don’t want to get sandy.
The staff are all friendly and helpful - they’re really trying hard to make this a quality hotel.

Can be a bit pricey during season but during the latter part of the season you can find some reasonable places to stay and with some googling good places to eat.

A nice costal city with mixed culture. There are a lot places you can visit including religious and colonial-era attractions. Beaches around the city are some of the best beaches you can find in the world. The city is located around the world's largest natural harbor.

The property is in a good location. The surrounding areas are very nice.
The staff behaviour was somewhat similar to un-accommodating . Trying to be polite but no for every request.
The food spread for dinner buffet was very limited and also not so tasty. Not worth the money.
Overall not worth the money spent, though they said it was peak season but not seen the Hotel booked to the capacity. The prices were exorbitantly high.

Great beaches, we were well to the North end and it was a bit more developed with tourist facilities. The rest, including Dutch Bay were much less developed. Friendly people, high quality food (with prices to match but we got great food so were fine with it).

Near the beach you can do a lot and our children enjoyed it. Lots of places to eat. Good prices for food and drinks if you look at the right place. Activities like snorkeling or dolphin watching are too expensive for what you get. Prices for tourist activities are reaching the level of european countries. Use apps for tuktuk costs.

Lovely hotel!! We stayed here for 4 days, it was perfect! The pool was a great addition, nice to have that option as well as the beach so close. The staff here were really lovely and accommodating.
We’ve been in Sri Lanka for 4 weeks and this was one of the nicest rooms we stayed in for this price.
We also highly recommend the restaurant ARANYAM down the road - lovely local place only 3 mins away.
Great hotel right on the beach, nice big rooms and bathrooms with views of the sea. The restaurant is amazing, really tasty food - delicious seafood, you have to try the spicy buttered calamari and excellent kottu. The staff are super friendly and helpful, we would definitely stay again.
I think this is the most wonderful hotel in Trincomalee. The hotel is just close to the beach and sea view is superb. Rooms are clean and spotlessly clear. Specially the host is very kind and supportive. We wish to come again. I recommend this hotel to everyone.
