Perfect stay during our bicycle trip.
Room was spacious and had a great view over the river.
Restaurant in the same building which was perfect to not have to go out again in bad weather.
Breakfast was wonderful.

This is one of the best hotels we stayed during our 3 week Rhine River trip! Fantastic river view, great food (breakfast and dinner), super friendly and helpful staff! The hotel also has many interesting artwork on display, make you feel like walk through a gallery. Above all, it was very reasonably priced! We really enjoyed our stay, and strongly recommend this hotel.

Remagen was convenient for me for an overnight st, coming by train from Edinburgh on the day, and likewise as an overnight stop on the last day of my holiday.
All travel was, of course, by train.
On my first visit I had to visit 'the bridge'. A very historic place.

Remagen is an ordinary little town, not at all touristy.
Remagen is an ordinary little town, not at all touristy. The great River Rhine is fascinating. Remagen is a central and near enough the major cities and The Ahr and Mosel areas for good touring. Good bus and train services, as well

Remagen is a lively town, with a lot of shops and restaurants. The Rhineboulevard gives it a holiday feeling. Their are a lot of hikes possible, there is some historical interest. We hope to come back and stay about a week.

The Rhine Valley is beautiful, lined with castles and vineyards. There are numerous restaurants and cafes. We liked to go to the Shroeder's Wacht am Rhein restaurant on the promenade. The Church of St Apollinaris is worth a visit.

Handy for the river link to Linz-am-Rhein.
Handy for the river link to Linz-am-Rhein. Remagen itself has little to offer except a very neglected Peace museam. The famous bridge is surrounded by weeded areas and graffiti all over the place. A sad reflection of the attitude of the Europeans to their history.
Very friendly staff at reception, a good breakfast and a very large room. Internet was solid, nice shower, and it's smack bang in the middle of Remagen, with 2mins to get to the Rhine river. Hotel closes at 9pm but you can enter via a side entrance. No hotel bar but a free small mini-bar.
Staff very friendly and accomodating. Evening food was reasonably priced and very good as was breakfast. Room tidy and very spacious with a stunning view of the Rhine river. The wasteground next tothe hotel has now been developed on with a equally as nice looking hotel.
