Great value, great location, great staff. Room was very clean and had everything one would need. The room is perfect for single travellers, not too small and with a private bathroom. Love the shampoo/body wash product provided as well.
I arrived past the regular check-in and the staff made everything easy and comfortable.

It hasn't happened to me often when I travel, but sometimes it happens that you find yourself in a place that leaves you with a particularly dear memory, one of those that warm your heart. Well, staying in the house of Thomas and his wife was one of those memories.
They welcomed us as you would a distant friend who comes to visit you, and they made us find a very welcoming, clean house, full of comforts located in a particularly quiet and relaxing area.
Every detail of the house was excellent, the rooms, the beds, the huge bathroom and the equipped kitchen and in the evening we always found parking very close to the house. On Thomas's advice, we were able to get to an incredibly large market. Where there were also several restaurants and pizzerias.
Finally, in the area, there is a bakery where you can have very good breakfasts and where you can find exquisite typical German bread.
We were in Essen for a trade fair and the thought of being able to return to that house in the evening comforted us for the whole week. Highly recommended!

Waterfront area is hyped as a great place to hang out but wasn't really much. The Altstadt is unremarkable. Walked down the main pedestrian street in the evening and felt that it was now just a place for people to ride scooters and hang out. Not very pleasant. Riding bikes to the train station in the morning---unbelievably badly marked. Would not plan to go back.

The hotel staff are very friendly and cheerful. The room was small but so clean, nicely decorated and had all basic amenities for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, too. The entire hotel is a work of art, really. The little candy treats they put in the room and the welcome cake and coffee are such a nice gesture. The location is perfect. Public transport and supermarkets right outside the hotel and a shopping centre within a few minutes' walking distance. 100% would recommend. I got nothing bad to say about it.
Overall a great stay: clean room and a new building including free parking and good wifi.
The location was good as well near many places: Essen, Oberhausen, Duisburg. A lot of food possibilities near the location as well.
The hotel is on walking distance of Kaufland and many other supermarkets and small shops such as Action, Macdonalds, Liddle, Mediamarkt and many other shops.
10/10 stay overall. Thanks!
Nice clean modern rooms. Good breakfast spread. Very helpful man at reception who lent me his personal charging cable after I forgot mine and the battery of my phone was about to die. Also advice where to get a cherap replacement cable in Mülheim. Lovely refurbished Mülheim waterfront with loads of restaurants 2 minutes walk from the hotel
Location was great for unobtrusive stay, hotel and restaurant were very convenient if one didn't feel like exploring. Tram was close by in case someone wanted to explore, but main town was some way off.
Location for overnight stay is good, close to road links. There are stores in close proximity, but not many places to eat. Hotel restaurant has been closed for some time now.
