Luxembourg country side is like Teletubbies land: in summer, green, rolling and pristine. The towns are clean, often have historic castles and churches and picturesque houses. There are tons of bike paths, rail to trail conversions, hiking paths and free public transportation, including buses and trains!! You can take your bike almost anywhere so it's a very bike-friendly country with great hiking opportunities, too. Having lived there, I'm biased, I admit, but I think it is one of the nicest and most welcoming countries in Europe.

What a lovely surprise. We almost skipped Luxembourg but I am so happy we didn’t. It’s a beautiful city and I wish we had more time there. Our timing was perfect and we managed to see a beautiful Philharmonic concert in the square.

Beautiful place with lots to do. Everyone seem to be fluent in English and french. The public transport is free and runs like clockwork. Lovely bars and restaurants as well as great architecture and culture.
The location of the hotel was excellent, really close to the Central Station of the city. The room was very nice, with adequate space and a comfortable bed. The staff of the hotel was very friendly and was ready to assist us where needed. I would definitely recommend it and I would be happy to stay there again in my future trips to Luxembourg!
Public transportation is free in luxembourg. Near to the hotel there is a bus stop and frequency of busses to the city center is pretty good which makes it more accessible.
Restaurants and a mall is within walking distance.
