Really enjoyed our stay. Quiet room, plunger coffee and milk on arrival, and tv in lounge and bedroom. Nice big bath and shower too. Plenty of free parking. We loved the indoor pool, was lovely and warm, and the small gym on the little mezzanine was handy too.

The nicest place we’ve stayed in New Zealand! The unit was freshly remodeled and absolutely spotless. Beds were excellent and kitchenette stocked with everything we needed. Use of laundry facilities was a nice bonus. Quiet and centrally located.

Lived here before and was special to revisit my old hometown. Close to Bluff which is must visit, famous Oreti beach, where movie Fastest Indian was filmed.

A very pleasant city to visit.
A very pleasant city to visit. The inspiring story of Burt Munro's glorious achievements took us to the Gardens and E. Hayes hardware store. This is a 'must' do! We visited the IC shopping centre where we enjoyed the perfect coffee and lunch at the Majestic Café. The city is a great location to explore places like Stewart Island, Bluff and the Catlins.

Father travelling with teenage son for short holiday. We enjoyed the transport and motorcycle museums, inspired by Burt Munro and "The World's Fastest Indian". We made excursions to Stewart Island. The Catlins, Slope Point and others. Everyone super friendly. Small town charm without being too small.

We needed a few more days to look around.
We needed a few more days to look around. We couldn't get accommodation in Queenstown so we spent 2 days driving back to Milford Sound and Queenstown, which meant we couldn't have a good look around Invercargill.

I have been staying at more than 30 hotels and apartments in the past when traveling. This place is the most tasteful design, most harmony feeling and the cleanest I had experienced. The beds are so comfortable and the shower is powerful and gives you instantly hot water which are a huge thumbs up.If you come to Invercargill definitely recommended to stay. Five 🌟 🤩 ⭐️ 🌠 💫.
The Kelvin hotel is great. Its less than 2 minutes walk to the main center and has a great restaurant and a relaxed atmosphere at the bar.
Free parking secure parking is available on request.

Nice apartment with a good range of facilities. Parking was in a carport underneath. Apartment was very quiet. Well located for the Invercargill’s main gardens. Some nice touches eg. chocolates & plunger coffee.
