I had a great stay for one night at the Hotel Doolin. The location, at the beginning of the Main Street is ideal. The room was spacious and modern. The hotel has a restaurant/bar (Fitz’s) attached that has live music at night. The breakfast (included) was spectacular. I’d highly recommend

The food was excellent. Staff was amazing. We were travelling with a 1 year old and it worked out perfectly for us.

Set in the countryside with cows next door. The rooms are rustic and basic. Beds were comfortable. The shared kitchen was nice, allowing us to make a simple dinner and there were items for a simple breakfast. We couldn’t figure out how to get hot water from the shower but the bath in our room had very hot water. The WiFi worked and there was parking on the property. The host gave us good travel advice.

Hosts were very accommodating, providing interesting information about the area, calling a taxi for us as well as a delicious breakfast. Martin shared his pet lambs, ducks, chickens and peacock with us which made our visit even more enjoyable.

I visited for a day with my two teenaged daughters. The first evening was spent looking through some of the shops (surprisingly well stocked for such a tiny village) and grabbing some food and pints at McDermott's which, despite being packed, was able to seat the three of us almost immediately. Unfortunately, we weren't able to take in the traditional Irish music as the performance room was pretty small, so get there early if that's your gig. Day two was spent at the Cliffs of Moher. We got tickets online the night before for a significant discount. One one time slot was fully booked so this is something you can potentially delay until the last minute if you're flexible. The Cliffs were amazing and I definitely could have spent much more than the 90 minutes I was able to get out of my daughters. I also would have like to hike the trail from Doolin to the Cliffs (but that absolutely wasn't going to happen with my girls and the time allotted for the visit).

There are more things to do then meets the eye. Nice selection of restaurants and bars, beautiful view, nice and quiet.
Many kinds of accommodation, lots of things to do in the area and I loved the walking trail to the cliffs. Amazing views.
If you like the outdoors and nature but still want to enjoy good restaurants or nice cafes - it’s the place for you.

Doolin exceeded our expectations, a beautiful location on the Atlantic coast. Typically Irish! Great access to the Cliffs Of Moher and the Aran Islands via the Doolin Ferry.
Two observations, Doolin, first, like most of Ireland are not very accommodating when it comes to taking a dog into a restaurant or pub, it is very difficult to find places, the only alternative is to sit outside - thankfully the weather was scorching last week when we were there.
Second the Doolin Ferry was VERY expensive at EUR 70.00 return for two adults to Inish Oirr and this is the closest of the three islands.
Sad to leave though....a beautiful location in Ireland.

A very charming village. The people were very friendly.
A very charming village. The people were very friendly. Great pubs and live music (McGann's & McDermott's were the ones we visited). There is a spectacular view of the Cliffs of Moher from the parking lot of the ferry dock; our landlord recommended we go at sunset, and it was amazing! It happened to be high tide and the roaring waves made the scene even more astounding. Of course, the Cliffs are just down the road, and they are one of the best sights in Ireland.

Great music, fun and food.
Great music, fun and food. Excellent quality food in all pubs and hotels. You can walk between pubs but lack of street lights can make this dangerous at night...maybe there could be a store of hivis vests that could be swapped between pubs for those walking.

Got a true feel for this countryside / seaside community.
Got a true feel for this countryside / seaside community. Loved the pubs. Took the scenic cliff side walk to Cliffs of Moher which was spectacular but super muddy. Amazing and majestic. Bus back to town could have been more on time and available.
We really enjoyed our stay at Fiddle + Bow. Convenient location for the Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands and Ailwee Caves. Russells restaurant and the Fish & Chips shop were both great! The hotel has lots of little details that make it well worth staying. I highly recommend staying here if you're coming to Doolin or looking to explore the West Coast of Ireland.
The hotel was beautiful, well decorated with lots of amenities on site. Great atmosphere in the bar with live trad music and good Guinness. Staff were amazing, so friendly and willing to help with anything. A flying visit but one I will definitely repeat as soon as I get the chance! Had the best sleep of my entire trip and possibly for years!
Great Location. The property was spotlessly clean. Lovely secure rear garden for our dog.
So much to see and do around Doolin and this property it right in the centre of it. Lovely coffee shop next door and you have the hotel for a bar and restaurant right there on your doorstep.
Visit Doolin. You wont regret it.
