This is an older hotel and I loved the ambience. There was live music at the bar and the rooms were great. The view out of the window was very lovely.
The hotel is in the heart of the city and made walking around really nice. Donegal is quite a charming town!

I know the area pretty well there’s a lot of changes since my last time all good.Only downside is Narin and Portnoo golf very expensive 250euro for a visitor don’t expect them to get many .Other courses in the area better visitor fees.

Donegal is a beautiful area, rugged and less crowded in April. Would highly recommend this area, particularly to people who like walking/hiking opportunities. Slieve League is a must and Glenveagh castle and gardens, which are open, are charming. Other attractions in the area are worth a visit.

Return stay to 19 Doran close, home from home, it has become, with fantastic host Jackie, highly recommend, cheap and cheerful, comfy beds, warm and cosy house ,, spotless clean, near everything, will be going back
The hotel is right in the main square and very accessible. It is busy, with excellent staff and facilities, we enjoyed the restaurant and the breakfast. Lift available. Our very comfortable room overlooked the square, so a tad noisy with the window open, but not a problem for us. We enjoyed the lively scene.
The area around Donegal town is interesting, beautiful and not too busy with tourists.
We'd happily stay again if we could.
Kate and Michael are very friendly and excellent hosts.
We were attending a family wedding and Kate supplied us with extras. Emergency pins.!!!!and even offered to drive us to the hotel..
The studio is compact and very tastifully decorated.
The area has fields and greenery on your doorstep which adds to the open space.
A Stones throw from the town.. we walked every day..
I would definitely come back..
Thank you both..
The hotel is so central, easy access to fabulous bars and restaurants. The staff were very caring, kind, polite. This made our first visit to Donegal so special, would highly recommend the Central and look forward to staying there on our next visit to Ireland
