This hotel feels truly French in a wonderful and authentic way. Each room is differently designed but equally gorgeous. There’s a lovely cat who greets you at the hotel and it’s run by two lovely women. This hotel exceeded our expectations from the photos and the listing - we would absolutely stay there again.
Hotel Jean Moët is a 4-star property, located in the town center of Épernay and close to the Champagne vineyards.

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The location is quiet but close to many restaurants. The breakfast had a nice array of items (fresh pastries, meats, cheese, coffee/tea, fruit) along with custom-cooked eggs.

The price is exceptional for a great location, decent rooms and good service. Bonus points that it is very dog-friendly.

Beautiful boutique hotel- 4 rooms - not
Like a hotel- guests in your friends home. The owners could not be more delightful or accommodating. Usually usually stay at Crayères in Reims- wanted to do something different for the first two nights- loved being in downtown Epernay- can't say enough good things about this property or the owners. Oh, and loved having my own private sauna and whirlpool... a First for me in a hotel room. Amazing.

We stopped here on our way down through France and found it to be a lovely town in the middle of the Champagne producing area of France. There were plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from.
We visited a fascinating museum of champagne production and archelogy/geology of the area, housed in a beautiful chateau.
We took the train to Reims (30mins) which was a great day out.
We tasted a few glasses of Champagne as well!!!

We had a wonderful stay in Epernay.
We had a wonderful stay in Epernay. We had the chance to taste Champagnes that were wonderful but less commercial. We had a fantastic champagne tour and wonderful French pastries and cuisine. By staying near the ave de champagne, we were close to all the great spots which were in walking distance.

Epernay is a great central location to stay and explore the southern Champagne region. Dinner reservations are essential if dining in Epernay. Calling ahead to the smaller champagne producers is necessary to ensure you can get a tasting time, the family run producers are exceptional.
Hautvillers is a highlight with many tasting rooms to drop in and visit the famous monk's final repose. Tremendous views of the valley, vineyards, and the city of Epernay.

If you love Champagne then this is worth the visit to Epernay. All the famous Champagne houses are in Epernay and nearby Reims. The history and beauty of the place is worth the visit. Learning about champagne and visiting the underground caves was incredible. The food is a bit touristic but with some research there are a few good finds. Its very easy to walk and a fun atmosphere

My second visit.
My second visit. A lovely town with good choice of restaurants. Quiet but with everything you could need and the added bonus of the Avenue du Champaign. The Avenue is a good option for pre dinner drinks in the grounds of the champaign houses too.
I prefer Epernay to Reims as a place to stay and it was so easy to get to Reims by train that I felt we had made the choice for the best of both worlds.
Taxi's and ubers can be a bit hit and miss and take a while to arrive so dont leave it till the last minute

Very disappointing to visit at Easter - most of the champagne houses were closed and the good restaurants were all full. I have been before in the summer when its much better. I must recommend Kitsch Cafe - literally the best coffee I have tasted in France.
This is a very pretty property when you first enter the gates. Our room and en-suite bathroom were large, quite and well furnished. The location is good a short walk 10mins to centre, restaurants and Avenue de Champagne. Secure parking is a bonus. Valerie was lovely and informative, good easy check in. The breakfast in the morning was very good. Fresh fruits, cereals, pastries, Jams, meats and breads along with a boiled egg on request. We would recommend this hotel for a stay Epernay.
Laure was a very welcoming host and her homemade breakfast was the best during our 3 week stay in France. A large bedroom and lounge with access to the courtyard (Horse). A house full of character well located in interesting Epernay.
This is the perfect place to stay in Épernay. Very near the centre of town, close to great restaurants and two minute walk from Champagne Road! Flat had everything, host was super helpful.
