Great location, easy walk along the Avenue de Champagne into Epernay which has some of the most well known Champagne houses to pop into on the way, also the Champagne museum.
The team members at the Kyriad are very friendly and helpful. Great tip to visit Hautvillers!
The communal sitting area is a nice place to sit and have a drink from the bar in the evening.
The buffet breakfast was lovely with a great selection of cereals, yogurts, bread, cheese, jams, meats etc.
Had everything we needed for our two night stay and great to be able to bring our dog, all at an incredibly reasonable price. Highly recommend.

We stopped here on our way down through France and found it to be a lovely town in the middle of the Champagne producing area of France. There were plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from.
We visited a fascinating museum of champagne production and archelogy/geology of the area, housed in a beautiful chateau.
We took the train to Reims (30mins) which was a great day out.
We tasted a few glasses of Champagne as well!!!

We had a wonderful stay in Epernay.
We had a wonderful stay in Epernay. We had the chance to taste Champagnes that were wonderful but less commercial. We had a fantastic champagne tour and wonderful French pastries and cuisine. By staying near the ave de champagne, we were close to all the great spots which were in walking distance.

Epernay is a great central location to stay and explore the southern Champagne region. Dinner reservations are essential if dining in Epernay. Calling ahead to the smaller champagne producers is necessary to ensure you can get a tasting time, the family run producers are exceptional.
Hautvillers is a highlight with many tasting rooms to drop in and visit the famous monk's final repose. Tremendous views of the valley, vineyards, and the city of Epernay.

If you love Champagne then this is worth the visit to Epernay. All the famous Champagne houses are in Epernay and nearby Reims. The history and beauty of the place is worth the visit. Learning about champagne and visiting the underground caves was incredible. The food is a bit touristic but with some research there are a few good finds. Its very easy to walk and a fun atmosphere

Champagne tasting was superb. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food and drink. Hosts were welcoming and friendly and were very patient with my attempts to speak French. It was also good to meet other guests from France, Belgium and Germany. The village setting is lovely and has a nice square with a few cafes and bars. Rooms were spotless and bottled water and chocolates were provided each night. Also secure parking behind electric gates was a bonus. I cant fault anything. 100%
Beautiful, classic French house with a modern, quirky interior design and great facilities. Lots of space & a lovely large outdoor terrace for eating, drinking and chatting in the evening sun. Plenty of parking. Best of all is the location. Easy to walk into Epernay centre with all of its restaurants and champagne activities. The owner is responsive and kind. Thank you for letting us stay!
1) convenient location in the centre of Épernay, particularly for those travelling by train, 2) the room was quite sizeable, 3) nice enough breakfast, given the overall standard of the hotel, though finish at 10 am was a bit early
