If you are looking for a hotel near the cathedral complex, this one is just around the corner. This made it very easy to go to the complex first thing in the morning quickly. I also liked that the room had an extra blanket available. There is not much else around in this area, but getting to the central part of town was only a 15-20-minute walk. The hotel is old, but they try to keep it looking okay and do an okay job of cleaning. When I checked in, the bathroom smelled of bleach, indicating that it had a good cleaning after the last guest.

A very nice and clean city with plenty of sights within walking distance. It's easy to get around, and there are many beautiful places to explore, including the Pisa Tower. I’d definitely recommend visiting. One day was enough to cover the main attractions.

We loved Pisa.
We loved Pisa. We chose it as a base to explore the region by train and visited Lucca, Livorno and Cinqe Terra. The piazza Miracoli is obviously a must but we enjoyed exploring Pisa with its many squares and pedestrian areas. The walk on the walls is fabulous. You are spoilt for choice for restaurants.

I only stayed one night and the weather was bad with torrential rain. Will definitely come back here as the transfer from the airport is super easy, city is easy to navigate and I want to see more of the city as I only managed the tower and the art gallery.

Spend 10 minutes looking at the Tower and the actually more impressive Cathedral. Spend 10 minutes wandering south from there, through town, down to the river. Spend 5 minutes crossing the bridge to look at the river. And then get the funk out of there.

This hotel was perfect. The price matched the expectations, the location was ideal, as it was very close to the Leaning Tower (10-15min walk) but also to the city centre and to the Pisa Centrale (20min walk). The room and the bathroom were big enough for the two of us, and everything was clean :). The hotel looks the same as the pictures provided and the staff was very nice to us when we arrived and every day until we left :)
The hotel was very relaxing, had good air conditioning and wifi and was close to the pisa tower! The next morning we were flying from pisa airport, public transport to the airport took 30 mins and costed us about 15 euro, maybe it is cheaper to grab a taxi? The hotel offered 3 euro breakfasts which included a croissant orange juice and coffee. Perfect for before our flight.
Pisa Happy House is the best ever place we ever stayed in, and Gianpiero is the nicest and kindest host . we arrived late and he left for us wine, cake and packed fridge with a lot of food, more then we expected.
The apartment is very spacious and stunning, much better then in the pictures, very clean, walking distance to airport, train station and city centre.
The room was so clean and decorated beautifully. Elizabetta was amazing so helpful and such a lovely kind natured person, really suits her role professionally. The breakfast was lovely, could have anything and nothing was a bother. We had 2 weeks in Italy in various 4star hotels, but this accommodation was by far the best.
We will definitely be back.
