Great place for a quick city break, enough to feel the Italian atmosphere, nothing much to see beside leaning tower and some catherdlas and squares, so instead of running after monuments you have time to relax. It's cheap in bars and restaurants - Pisa isn't as 'broken' by tourism as more popular cities are so you can still eat good food for a good price and people don't want to scam you on every corner. Airport is basically in the city, train connections are great, accomodation is cheap.

My family and I stayed at Pisa for three days and we think it was the right amount of time. We were able to see the leaning tower, explore the city centre and even take a day trip to Florence. I think it is an underrated place and a really nice small city, I’d recommend Pisa to anyone! It’s really easy to get around the city, most of the time we just walked.

Pisa is small city and except the Tower not much to spend time on. If you want to shop then you might some nice branded shops here which are cheaper compared to other places in Italy. One day is more than enough. Walk from Airport to city center is 20 min, so easily accessible. During summer you have Airport shuttle between Central station and Airport. We planned visit to Florence and Rome from Pisa. Good connectivity via high speed railway, but you need to plan early.

The favorite spot is of course the well-known Cathedral & Pisa Tower; From Pisa it is easy to go and discover other cities like Firenze or Livorno. We ate at local restaurants like Trattoria Da Stelio and Trattoria Sant'Omobono which we highly recommend for local cuisine.

Pisa is an easily walkable city. Felt safe walking at night. The tower is the obvious attraction, though do visit the many churches; they are very pretty. And the botanical gardens. Lots of choice for eating out. Reasonable prices too. Good base to use Trenitalia to reach other areas. I recommend Lucca, Florence, and Livorno for day trips out.

Good location for airport (7mins by car / shuttle service) / train station (2mins walk) The hotel offers E-scooters for free so you can easily travel around the city. There's a parking place on the same street for 10 euro per 24hrs. The breakfast buffet was amazing, a great selection of continental, English and American breakfast, Tea / coffee making facilities in the room which was missing from most places we stayed in Italy. Lastly the staff were very helpful & friendly. I would highly recommend!
Excellent location- walking distance from the train station. Pisa is a walkable city so it was convenient for all the attractions. The room was very big, comfortable and super clean. Very quiet, not like other hotels where I have been in Italy where you can hear what happens in other rooms. The breakfast was complete, both with sweat and salty options. The staff was very kind and we were able to storage our bags for a few ours after check out. We liked the hotel a lot
This hotel was perfect. The price matched the expectations, the location was ideal, as it was very close to the Leaning Tower (10-15min walk) but also to the city centre and to the Pisa Centrale (20min walk). The room and the bathroom were big enough for the two of us, and everything was clean :). The hotel looks the same as the pictures provided and the staff was very nice to us when we arrived and every day until we left :)
Pisa Happy House is the best ever place we ever stayed in, and Gianpiero is the nicest and kindest host . we arrived late and he left for us wine, cake and packed fridge with a lot of food, more then we expected.
The apartment is very spacious and stunning, much better then in the pictures, very clean, walking distance to airport, train station and city centre.
Really lovely staff and cheap city tax compared to other hotels we stayed at in Italy. The staff gave us a map and helped with recommendations and allowed us to leave luggage the next day. Beautiful room 3 minutes walk away from the tower and the shared bathroom was very clean. Would definitely recommend.
