We loved Hotel Elvis. The cafe is cute with the most beautiful flowers on the outdoor patio I have ever seen. The room was clean, spacious and having a kitchen was wonderful. They stocked the kitchen and bathroom with soap and kitchen sponge. The bed and tv set up was also great! I will definitely recommend and stay there again if we're ever back in Ortesei.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of town square. Staff were so nice and helpful. Walking distance to everything like the lifts to Seceda and Alpe de Suisse. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Close to a grocery store. We have a big room with balcony at the back of the hotel. Very good breakfast with variety of choices. For dinner, it's advisable to make a reservation since the restaurant gets full at night. There's a paid parking garage at the basement of the hotel, which is very convenient if you have a car. We'll definitely stay here again.

This is a great starting point if it's your first time in the Dolomites. The village is quite big, with lots of cafés, restaurants, and shops. From the village, you can reach three of the most popular destinations (Resciesa, Seceda, Alpe di Siusi). Local public transport works great and can take you to even more points of interest, like Col Raiser and beyond, in just 15 to 30 minutes.

Definitely recommend pub Purgers. If you want to get some local stuff, visit SPAR in center. Also visit caffe Haiti in center. If you are accommodated in one of many hotels, you are having free public transport. Prices are standard for Dolomite tourist area. Perfect starting place for skying and mountain walking.

Ortisei is a gorgeous town nestled in a valley and surrounded by the beautiful Dolomites. It offers a number of easy and also more difficult hiking trails. The gondola to Alpe de Siusi, which is a meadow plateau is there and there are fantastic walking trails and scenery.

Ortiesi is a delightful town with plenty going on. We stayed there 5 nights and didn't find a bad restaurant - far from it, I think we managed to attend some of the top rated sites on Trip Adviser, but they were not excessively proved and all were excellent.
The town is impressively clean and there are plenty of walks/hikes that can be undertaken without the need to drive.
I would definitely visit Ortisei again.

The stay was just amazing. The place is above and beyond what we expected. Ortisei is a tourist town with apartments facing the streets with a small, cute balcony. And that's exactly what we got. It is more of an apartment for yourself rather than a hotel with all amenities like kitchen and dining area. We loved it and enjoyed our stay there. The receptionist was also very helpful and recommended and guided us with the tips for travelling and exploring the place.
We had an amazing stay at Hotel Ronce. The room was large with a nice balcony, big clean bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The staff were so friendly and we had several lovely nights at the bar for dinner. We also thoroughly enjoyed the wellness centre - a lovely way to warm up after hiking in the snow! The staff even gave us a bottle of wine to help us celebrate our engagement! We will be sure to return if we come back to Ortisei.
This hotel is 2km from the main part of Ortisei with a lovely outlook. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, with a modern bathroom. We enjoyed a lovely fresh breakfast. Josephine was a helpful host, recommending restaurants for dinner. Would definitely stay here again. I
