Alina, her mother and another lady all provided my wife and I Outstanding service and assistance. The Hartmann and the Ortisei region is truly magical, lush green valley's, gorgeous trees, friendly people, cool weather, and beaufitul sites especially from the property (there's a heart-shaped water fall you can see from the patio) itself or higher up on the gondolas going to the Chalet Col Raiser hut and Seceda viewpoints We thought the views from Col Raiser were the best. We loved the full buffet breakfast, cappuccino's in the morning, fruit, yogurt, muesli cereals with hazelnuts, walnuts, figs, prunes and the small pasteries. The Hartmann is a very high class property, with an honor bar at night where you can sip your wine, Aperol Spritz or beer on the patio or sit in the chairs in the lounge, with light Jazz playing in the background. We even met some new friends from Kentucky. Beautiful, pleasant walk on the upper trail to get into Ortisei in 15 minutes. Very high quality pillows, sheets, and comforters. We will be back!

Maybe the most impressive hotel I have ever stayed in. Beautiful rooms. World class spa, including steam room, saunas, yoga studio, hot tub, indoor pool. The most amazing staff. Included breakfast was a huge buffet spread and items from the menu. Great location in the heart of Ortisei.

One of our absolutely favourite places we stayed on this trip. I would stay here if ever in Ortisei again. Family style hotel, very helpful & friendly owners. The spa was great. The hotel itself is very well located for walking everywhere, free parking was available. Breakfast was good as well. We had no issues during our stay.

Ortisei was a wonderful base for exploring Alpe di Suise and Secheda. From the town, you can take cable cars up to both for some spectacular views and hiking, biking opportunities. It's also about a 30 minute drive from Gardena Pass, which is also a spectacular area for hiking, climbing, biking, etc. The town is very cute and clean, but it does close down surprisingly early. We had a hard time finding a restaurant open much past 8. It's tough to describe the beauty of this area. The view you enjoy at the top of the gondola to Alpe di Suise was one of the most spectacular sights I've every seen. We did luck out with a gorgeous, sunny day! I can't wait to go back!

Beautiful views and easy access to Mountain tops via Trams. Town of Ortisei was charming to walk thru with shops snd restaurants. Dolomites provided wonderful hiking with restaurants on the mountain top about every 1 hour (2.5 miles).

The town of Ortisei is a very typical Sud-Tirolean Alpine with lots of wood in use throughout the town for building and local wood carvers. It is a very quiet and peaceful town. Up the road Selva is a more geared towards younger people with lots of apres-ski bars and outdoor music events and bars etc. If you are up for a quiet and relaxing stay, which has lots of nice restaurants and shops, this is it.
Huge and varied spread of breakfast and evening meal . The quality is high with all diets and needs catered for .
The facilities are fantastic - numerous activities : Indoor to outdoor pool . Sauna , sun bed , quiet areas , games rooms .
There is a substantial ski room to leave your equipment in a private locker .
If ordered in advance , the skis and boots are waiting for you when you arrive at the hotel .
There is a frequent shuttle service to the slopes as they are a few miles away but doesn t detract from the overall experience

The owner is really kind, he wants to help and give tips so that your stay is enjoyable. The location is close to the centre of Ortisei, it is a bit up the hill but via the garden you can go to / from the city without having to walk uphill. The kitchen looked brand-new and was super complete. We were here in summer, but I can imagine the location would be perfect for a winter (ski)trip too.
Very causy hotel, the room was cleaned every day, the towels were changed every day, free wi-fi ( good internet connection), tasty breakfast, delicious cappucino, convenient ski room, free car parking. The hotel is located in a peaceful area, good location that allows fast access to ski areas ( by car).
Nice environment and nice breakfast here! All stuffs are friendly to us. And the hotel is in a good location, the bus station is in front of the hotel and it only takes 10 mins to go to Ortisei.
