We had the best time on Fairview Estate, the estate itself is breathtaking with amazing views.
There is a adventures hiking trail to a overhanging cave that we thoroughly enjoyed, we also did a bit of cycling on the farm roads, it was safe and also gave us views that did not disappoint.
The Estate itself is well kept and tidy, everyone is very friendly and helpful, they have beautiful horses that you can interact with, Alpacas that are on your door step and some cows in the distance that you can walk to.
You are also nice and close to both Clarens and Frouriesburg if you would like to head out for breakfast or lunch.
Accommodation (Twin Towers) :
The view from Twin Towers is phenomenal from any level, it was very tidy and exceptionally clean. There was more than enough kitchenware, bedding, blankets, braai tongs and everything you needed for your stay.
Twin Towers is beautifully curated.
Everything worked perfectly and had no surprises what so ever.
We stayed over for three nights and did not want to leave as the peace, quiet and tranquil environment just recharges your batteries.

The house is set in a beautiful location and the garden is delightful. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. The host communicated all the time and gave excellent recommendations. She also went to great trouble to courier an item left behind to us.
We had a beautiful stay. We actually booked a wrong cottage on booking.com and realised it later, but the staff was so great they managed to sort us out to an upgrade actually. The cottage was beautiful, clean, quiet, had free WIFI, clear instructions & very helpful information about activities available in & around Fouriesburg. And they serve a lovely breakfast. My family was is still so grateful

Fouriesburg is beautiful and has a lot of hidden gems and activities to do. The only thing is that the R26 is a mess. The potholes are awful. This makes the drive so uncomfortable and you cant see the beautiful scenery this place has to offer.

A good base to explore the town and the area up to Clarens...
A good base to explore the town and the area up to Clarens and Golden Gate. Unfortunately the shocking state of the road to Ficksburg means that travelling south is not advisable, which is a shame as the scenery is stunning and there is Sandstone Estate with its historic steam trains and agricultural museum on this stretch.

Just like the feeling of a quiet old beauful town, well maintained.
We had our own braai.
Very easy to drive around town and look at all the old sandstone houses.
The butcher across the road, think is was called Model Butchery. The owner needs a smile and a new boerewors recipe !

The experience was exceptional. The view, the peaceful environment, the calming quiet of the surrounding areas.
Was warm and inviting, and the host was extremely welcoming.
Although the stay was just for the day, I would absolutely do it again
The Wegkomkans B&B in Fouriesburg is an absolutely lovely place with a welcoming and caring host. Even though it is quite cold in winter, with the heating blankets and the fireplace it is cozy inside. Also the breakfast was very nice. Fouriesburg is located in a stunning landscape and less than an hour away from Lesotho what gives you even more possibilities to make excursions.
Delicious breakfast included. Lots of good places to eat in Fouriesburg not more than 2 minutes away and in walking distance. David checked us in and Grace made an excellent breakfast. Thoroughly recommend this guest House.
The hotel is located in the mountain. We enjoyed great view from the hotel. My kids enjoyed playing with dogs (very smart !). Staff is also very friendly and kindly. Dinner and Breakfast were also very good.
