Everything. I was there a couple years ago almost accidentally and fell in love with the place, promising myself I would come back. Traditional and modern country design merge with exquisite taste. Food in its simplicity is oustanding, staff over the top.
It's the perfect place to slow down and unwind, surrounded by the peace and the beauty of the countryside.

Locorotundo is town with a small, but quaint, old section filled with some great restaurants and beautiful sights. In many ways, we preferred it to the larger cities like Lecce because it offered excellent amenities with fewer tourists and more Italians. Although Locorotundo does not offer as many sights as Lecce, it is very nice and it make an excellent base to drive short distances to other locations throughout Puglia (i.e. Ostuni, Monopoli, Alberobello, etc.). I would highly recommend Locorotundo.

Locorotondo is a nice small town in Puglia.
Locorotondo is a nice small town in Puglia. I recommend walking through the small streets in the evening and finding a restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious meal. I wouldn't necessarily recommend the restaurants on the edge of the town, where you also have views of the vineyards, because we found them a bit overpriced and not authentically Italian.
What I can recommend is the wine tasting at Sirose, also in Locorotondo. We went at 6 pm when they opened. There was no one there yet, so you can peacefully take photos and watch the sunset. We stayed for at least four hours. It's very romantic with a violinist, and the wine is delicious.
Other nearby towns I recommend are Martina Franca and Monopoli. We found Ostuni and Alberobello to be too touristy, which prevents you from having a true Italian experience.
Overall, definitely recommended.

The destination is perfect as it is in the ceter of Puglia and everighing you need to see is in max one hour drive distance. The place itself is very nice, especially the historic center. It is very pitoresc, clean and well preserved old town with a lot of floweres and nice spots. The restaurants and bars are very good slso.

If you are planning to visit try and go early as it gets SO busy and it’s a shame as there are far too many people It’s very beautiful and you need to walk away from the center and the noise
We found some really lovely bars and restaurants away from the main parts
We found a wonderful farm to table restaurant away from the center with a lovely vegetable garden The food was incredible called Trattoria e orti TerraMadre
Masseria Grofoleo is heaven on earth. The reality is much more beautiful than on the pictures, from the smell of flowers in the garden to the smell of duvets. Every detail is perfect. I cant even explain how wonderful experience was for my family to stay here, especially tasty breakfast in the garden with view of Locorotondo. Its worth every euro we paid. I cant forget to thank all the staff, their work ensured that our stay was breathtaking. We could highly recommend this accommodation, one of the best I ´ve ever stayed.
This was a lovely apartment. Super clean with everything you need to self cater. The outdoor areas and the swimming pool were beautiful. It was a great base to tour the region by car. While it was a short walk to the centre of Locorotondo, there were no footpaths which made us feel a little unsafe and as a consequence we chose to drive. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and would highly recommend.
The host was super friendly, welcoming and helpful. The place itself is amazing. Beautiful trullis, surrounded by nature. Great pool area, calm and relaxing. Fruit trees and fresh basil (thank you!).🥰
The location is also very convenient, if you want to visit towns like Locorotondo, Ostuni, Alberobello.
A bar and a grocery shop are very close.
Would definitely book again!
Everything was amazing, beautifully restored trulli and the hosts were so welcoming and the care of the guests are that of a top star hotel. Our first stop in Puglia and the bar has been set high. I highly recommend this property, 10/10. Thank you
