Amazing area of vineyards and olive trees, beautiful Truli heritage houses. In the city of Locorotondo we had some great dinners at

Just a few hours in Locorotondo is enough.
Just a few hours in Locorotondo is enough. Fine dining at Anima restaurant if you do not mind spending an average of €40-€50 per person. Exquisite cuisine though. Good value for money at Braceria Caramia- very good food and less expensive. Pizzeria Il-Piccio is then a good option for very good and very well priced pizza. Basic service and environment, but worth it.

It was an absolutely amazing place to stay!
It was an absolutely amazing place to stay! Our host was extremely friendly and did his outmost to make our stay as comfortable as possible! It was a great pleasure to stay in this very charming old townhouse. The room and the entire building were recently renovated with excellent taste, using great materials. We will most definitely come back and see more of the area❤️

One of the most beautiful place in Puglia.
One of the most beautiful place in Puglia. Very nice old city with narrow streets. Warm people, good food. We felt very safety at nights.

Locorotundo is town with a small, but quaint, old section filled with some great restaurants and beautiful sights. In many ways, we preferred it to the larger cities like Lecce because it offered excellent amenities with fewer tourists and more Italians. Although Locorotundo does not offer as many sights as Lecce, it is very nice and it make an excellent base to drive short distances to other locations throughout Puglia (i.e. Ostuni, Monopoli, Alberobello, etc.). I would highly recommend Locorotundo.

It was in the most stunning location right in the centre of Locorotondo in the heart. A stunning location. The room we had was enough for us but our bathroom was quite snug and the AC wasn’t the best. But we endured it and perhaps next time would book a bigger room. Just to note breakfast is in another location and access is at the top floor by stairs which doesn’t have access to a lift. This wasn’t a problem for us but just to be aware. We loved taking a morning stroll here each morning.
Staying with Antonio and Marianna was the highlight of my 6 week vacation. Their hospitality and attention to every detail made us feel like family, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was special and having access to e-bikes to explore nearby towns was amazing. If you travel to this part of Italy you must stay at Dimora Ritunno. Locorotondo is gorgeous and central to explore Martina Franco and Alberobello. We definitely will be back. Bravo!!
This was our favorite stay in Puglia. When the gate opened, we knew we were in for a relaxing stay. After staying in city centers, what a nice treat to have space and genuine warmth from the hosts. Lovely trulli we stayed in, amazing fresh breakfast with local eggs, Mama's pies, burrata, great coffee. Donkeys as pets. Blood pressure lowered as soon as we arrived. Would come back here if we ever visit Locorotondo again.
Our 2-night stay was lovely - we had everything we could ask for. The place was exactly as described, and the team went above and beyond with a fresh linen change and replacement of the water we were given. We were especially fond of the balcony where the views were stunning, and a perfect place to enjoy dinner or a glass or wine after a day of exploring! We would definitely come back if we are in Locorotondo again.
Location of Trulli di Cariola is perfect if you want to visit Alberobello, Martina Franca and Locorotondo. By car are all mentioned towns easily accessible. Donato (host) was very kind and helpful. He provided us with accurate information about good restaurants and great agriturismo sites.
