The location is spectacular, and the facilities are well designed and in good shape. The sunrise views from the terraces and dining room, as well as from our private room were stunning. The restaurant is well above average and offers a nice mix of buffet and à la cart options. The staff was consistently upbeat and helpful. The friendly manager joined us for a vigorous morning walk up to the nearby view tower; well worth the hike. There is also a beautiful nature trail that starts near the hotel.

Great location, lovely family that made us feel at home. Clean and comfortable room and we had the best shower. They serve food and their thakali is absolutely delicious and a must try while in Nagarkot. Wonderful stay with wonderful people.

It was good value for money. The place has a peaceful ambience. The highlight for us was the bathtub in the washroom. You can also gaze at the city view from the tall windows. The staffs were also very helpful and quick to respond. Overall, we had a relaxing stay at this lovely hotel.

The rooms are spacious and very clean. The shower has amazing hot water. Location is quite good, a little hike away from town (about 15min) and close to a sunrise point. Rooftop is nice as well.

The hotel location allowed us a view of the mountains from the balcony but however sadly the clouds didn't gave us that luxury. This big room is recommended for people travelling in a group of four. The staffs were quite cordial. The ala carte breakfast was decent.

The hotel and grounds are lovely, with beautiful views of the Himalayas in the early morning. However the property is somewhat isolated, being located all by itself on the mountainside. So there is nothing much to do there and nowhere really to walk to (Nagarkot not being much of a town to begin with)
Also the swimming pool and hot tub is indoors in a rather unpleasant, humid, glass-encased room. It is also an odd shape, so as to interfere with lap swimming,

I stayed in the Hotel Prem Durbar Hotel & Nagarkot Zipline. The hotel has excellent location. I was given a room with an excellent City view especially during night. The Front Office Manager Mr. Santosh Timilsina was very friendly, warm and exceedingly helpful. I enjoyed my short stay there.
Service, staff, rooms, view, Spa facilities, restaurant & bar, round the clock service was all Very Good. The property despite its terrain has been designed in a very user friendly way.
Suggest you go in a group of at least 4-6 persons. or it can get boring. Not much to do around except trekking trails and long walks and yoga in the park. One can visit the city of Kathmandu and Pashupatinath temple. But if you are alone or a couple it can get a little lonesome. Excelent venue to get away from the madding crowd.

Lovely place to stay. Whether you like hiking, cultural vibe or just sit down and enjoy environment, this is place for You. Easy or more demanding hike is there, cultural spots ( temples, stupas), view points, little restaurants, coffe places.

It is probably the most overrated place near Kathmandu.
It is probably the most overrated place near Kathmandu. The food prices are crazy expensive (it's not due the remote location as the restaurant owners will claim as a few decently priced restaurants are also available). The road is completely horrible around the Nagarkot main market. There is no petrol pump (gas station) and the place in general lacks any character.

We had a great stay! The hotel is beautiful and clean. The view is amazing and you can see everything from the rooms. We had a free upgrade and the staff was helpfull and kind. The food was good. Amazing price for the quality. The pool was clean and had a amazing view as well. Definitely would recommend this place and stay here afain! Bharat Badal was really kind and helped us when we couldn't get a bus because of the election. We could stay longer and he helped us get a cab.
The Location was superb.. it was like being on the top of the world with absolute stunning views.
The staff were good, food was good.. it was calming, soothing and very serene.
but the room was barely passable, no space and bathroom facilities were poor.. if this was really worked upon, I believe it will be one of the best Hotels in Nagarkot... because the rest was superb.

Exceptional service from staff and location of the hotel.. had a wonderful sunrise right from the room. Breakfast served with an combination of both Nepalese and western cuisine.. facilities were exceptionally well managed and even had warmers around the lobby and balcony areas to enjoy the old weather. Would definitely visit again in future.
